This my favorite jacket -- and I have owned jackets from various high-end name brands. This is a mid-weight jacket that actually provides some real warmth in cold temperatures (though I wouldn't be walking around in it too long in sub-32 degree temps), but it's light enough to put on when it's just chilly out. The fleece lining is soft and nice. It has tons of useful pockets, including a cell-phone size front breast pocket (great for traveling). The jacket folds up pretty well to pack away while traveling. It's fairly water-proof. It survives numerous washes in the washing machine and air-dries quickly. It's durable -- the zippers and velcro are of above-average quality for a jacket in this price range. It isn't too baggy, but it doesn't squeeze. This is, all-in-all, the best travel jacket that I have ever owned.

I previously owned a Columbia jacket and decided to give this one a try and I'm glad I did. This jacket feels well made, looks great and has been great for the outdoor use. The medium fits me perfectly - great fit without being too tight or too loose (5'8" 175 lbs). It's stylish, comfortable and I really like the Velcro on the sleeves - make a difference in keeping the element out. It's definitely not a winter jacket but perfect for fall and spring especially in cooler weather. The fleece lining adds just the right amount of warmth without making it bulky. While it's not a fully waterproof like a rain jacket, it does a good job repelling rain and keeping me comfortable. Overall, it's a solid choice for transitional seasons and I'm really happy with the quality and fit.

This is a very well made light weight jacket which I bought for my husband. I love that the jacket's soft-shell material is not that noisy, crinkly material you often get with rain gear. And on the inside there is a fleece material which provides an extra layer of warmth. It also has plenty of deep pockets, the pockets on the outside are deep and have a zipper, and there are three pockets on the inside, two of which have a zipper. My only complaint is that it runs small, thus the four stars. My husband typically wears a 2X shirt, so we bought this jacket in a 3X. It fit him like a glove, very tight all over. So we returned it and ordered the 4X (he does not wear a 4X in anything else). But the 4X fit him. Overall, this is a well-made comfortable jacket that performs well - you just need to size up.

I just bought this coat as a replacement for a water "resistant" coat I use around the house when I need to be outside in the rain or snow blowing the driveway, and for an upcoming trip. I literally bought it at 9-ish Pm ET and it was at my door the following morning before 830am ET. Thanks Amazon! The coat itself is very comfy (2XL) and there is room under it for a hoodie or sweatshirt. Its a little less roomy than some other 2XL outerwear I have but there is enough room for bulkier clothing under it (layering). The main reason I got it was for an upcoming trip to Alaska we have planned for later this year and wanted something that was fleece lined for a bit more warmth in 40-60 degree weather w/wind/rain. My existing waterproof-ish coat has no lining and would not be very warm in those temps w/wind/rain. Can't include how it did for that yet but will update the review when I get back, later this year. So far so good. Provides the additional protective layer I was looking for and is water-"repellent", not just resistant. Allows for winter work outside the house (shoveling/snow blowing, etc) without getting cold or sweaty under it like a warmer coat would. Plenty of pockets, zippers appear to be good quality, removable hood is nice too as that may allow for more casual wear in the colder months and during that trip coming up. For the price compared to Duluth Trading Co or The North Face for similar coats, you can't beat it.

So I’m a bigger guy. 5’7 280ish. I have the literal worst times with clothes. Jackets in particular. Sometimes 2x not big enough but 3x is way to big (mostly columbia). The 2x that do fit 90% aren’t long enough and doesn’t fit fully over my belly. I opted for the 2x on this jacket. Not only does it fit. It also covers my belly and does not stick up. Also the thickness could not be better. Doesn’t look skin tight but also it’s not so puffy I look like a balloon with the hood not being huge but fitting my head. In all the years not sure I’ve ever found a jacket that fits me this well. Stuff I love not bulky but super warm. Last two mornings in TN have been in the low 30’s with wind chill. It is plenty warm. Only been a slight breeze but it prevents the wind from getting through effectively. The fleece while could be a tad softer it’s not itchy and keeps me warm. Can’t comment on rain resistance yet but if it blocks the wind that good should be fine. Basically it’s way better than it has any right to be for this price point.

What’s not to love! I wore it on a windy, 35° day with a medium weight sweatshirt. I was warm, and the hood was handy to keep the wind chill from freezing my ears. It’s hip-length, so it covers you backside nicely. I wasn’t expecting rain, but got caught in a good drizzle. This coat repelled the rain from soaking me. The interior liner is lightweight, but a good dense material. I wasn’t expecting rain not cold walking 2 miles. I washed the coat and the colors didn’t run, and the jacket looks brand new still. No wrinkling or shrinkage. the Medium fit me comfortably. I’m 5’5”, 150 lbs. I wear a woman’s 10-12. Added bonus is interior pockets and deep side pockets so nothing slips out.

I ordered this jacket for my hubby after letting him choose it from several others and picking out the color. He is barely 5'8" & 185 lbs with broad shoulders so i ordered the XL. It fit him to a tee. He mentioned it's quite roomy - there's plenty of room in the sleeves to layer if needed for colder days and the armpits are not snug or tight. The sleeves are a tad long as expected but the velcro tightening solves that problem. We live in north TX where weather fluctuates between the high 30s & 70s from day to day during the fall and winter. His other coats and jackets were either too large or thick, or did not serve as windbreakers or easy to lug about so he needed something light and comfortble, yet lined and warm enough for all weather wear. This jacket checks all the boxes, and we plan to take it with us for our Europe trip in May-June when weather over there can be rainy and chilly. He loves it and we couldn't be happier with the purchase. It's attractive and alot better than the expensive brand name ones i've seen at the mall.

Long sleeves. Multitudinous pockets in and out. Warm. Soft and supple. Quiet. Highly wind and water resistant. Hood is easily adjusted and will go over Giro road biking ventilated helmet and myriad hats. Sleeves adjust at the cuffs. Looks to be seamlessly (lol) well made. Nothing misaligned, no loose threading and tight, even nylon stitching. Will it perform with competitors such as Mammut, Marmot, REI Co-op and others in terms of durability? In a word: No. But it needn't. Most clothing wouldn't. And the above mentioned clothing is more restrictive, less flexible and noisier for its durability in most cases. This item will withstand the urban jungle for decades if it is not your habit to get violently mugged weekly or fall off your skateboard frequently. Not to mention its EXCEEDINGLY reasonable cost for such quality and thought put into a product.
