An enhanced high-loft Berber fleece face silences the new and ultra-quiet GORE-TEX INFINIUM with WINDSTOPPER technology, which is packaged with Prim aloft Silver Hi-Loft Ultra insulation for the coldest days in the stand. A new body-mapped construction is designed to optimize the archery draw cycle for bow string clearance on the left arm along with reduced bulk in the draw arm to keep you quiet and your arrow flight true. The Constant-Connect SITKA Safety Harness Port simplifies donning and doffing the jacket while secured to a torso-mounted harness tether, eliminating the need to disconnect from your harness when adding or subtracting layers. From top to bottom, the Fanatic Jacket is the whitetail hunter’s perfect tool for capitalizing on late-season conditions. The jacket is as warm as promised on the Sitka site. I wear it at temps below 35F. On longer walking I either attach hot to the backpack or leave the zipper open. The quality is top notch but the prize is steeper than I would like it. Buy once, cry once, love it forever. I saw comments on previous review that it needs a hood. I disagree. Most likely you will have a hooded sweater or light hooded jacket underneath. If not too cold you can just bring a neck gaiter and hat. I also like the fact that I do not need very thick gloves anymore since the built in handwarmer muff works exceptionally well. It also has built in pockets for thermal packs should you ever decide to go out and hunt in subzero conditions. This jacket will keep you warm. ... show more

This Sitka Fanatic jacket is extremely warm, windproof and quiet. It is pricey but its the best cold weather gear I've bought! I also have the bibs, they too are great! The zipper design is unique in that is not " straight up and down" like every coat I've ever seen. It is angled from your right shoulder to the left hip. This allows for a built in hand-muff type of front pocket (just like a front pocket on most pullover hooded sweatshirts). Having one big pocket instead of 2 single pockets results in your hands staying much warmer and with less movement when withdrawing your hands. I'm able to get away with wearing thinner gloves which makes it easier/faster to use a release when bowhunting. I bought the XL size which fits very well.. I'm 6'0 and weigh 220 with farely broad shoulders. Don't try to wear this coat while walking to your stand... you'll be sweatting like a whore in church! ... show more

If you’ve been on the fence about buying this jacket just do it. Buy once cry once. I’m mad I’ve spent this long freezing in the woods when I should’ve just spent the money. Sat this morning with this jacket and just a thermal undershirt on and it was below freezing and I was warm as could be. The pass through pocket for your hands is absolutely amazing and kept my hands warm all morning. The diagonal zipper is a little awkward but is really nice when you sit down and the jacket doesn’t bunch up in front of you. I would absolutely recommend this jacket to anybody ... show more

This jacket is awesome. It is 100% silent and very warm. I layer underneath it and have hunted in low 20’s with no issue. I carry in a backpack on my way out so I don’t sweat. Easy to put on in my stand and like that I don’t have to remove my harness to put on. Yeah, this stuff is expensive. There is no denying that. Can you get decent gear for a lot cheaper? Sure you can. Does that gear have features you didn’t even know that you needed? I doubt it. It’s a investment. Buy good gear, take care of it and it will last. I bought the bibs as well. I'm 5,10 150lbs. Purchased the medium. Fits well with layers underneath while also having a ton of movement. Even when over layered I can still move and draw my bow with 0 issues. This is why I chose sitka. Sometimes the product just speaks for itself.

Just got the fanatic bibs and jacket…thought I’d try it and sit outside in 26 degree weather (perfect Michigan weather by the way). It’s been an hour and it’s feels as though I should be drinking pina-coladas out here. To say that the fanatic set up will keep you warm is an understatement….a more accurate statement would be: “Sitka Fanatic set up, never pay for a heating bill ever again”. I mean….is hot guys, but like pleasantly hot. No one, I mean NO ONE other than Sitka should be allowed to make clothes that are meant to keep you warm. I don’t want anyone complaining about the price either…saying: “I can do this all day” to winter weather is priceless. How is the camo you ask? Great…wife couldn’t see me, dog couldn’t see me…..stealthier than the IRS taxing your paycheck. Buy it! ... show more

My old coat was done and looking to get another that will handle the colder temps. I couldn't find any reviews on Amazon or on Sitka's site for my body type and was unsure if I should go 2X or 3X in the Fanatic jacket. I am 6'0" @ 300lbs. I tried on a Stratus (for reference) in my local Sportsmans Warehouse in a 2X and it fit fine but was a snugger fit. I wouldn't want to layer it. I heard the fanatic ran smaller in more than a few reviews so I gave the 3X a try. This worked great. It still doesn't block the bow with any bagginess, but I could also put a layer or two underneath if if gets really cold out. At the cost of Sitka I can't afford another layer of outer jacket like the Incinerator, so the ability to layer under this is huge. I don't have exceptionally long arms and they fit just fine, no issues. I would wear a 2X or 2XT in about anything Carhartt, 2X in most long sleeve button downs from Duluth, but the 3X in this was good. The jacket was warm already just trying it on.
