Description

RB XL is designed for the larger-foot skater. It is the only skate in the market specifically engineered in sizes 14-17.5 to provide the durability, support and performance that larger skaters require. What makes the RB XL unique is the structure and frame design, with boots and cuffs strategically reinforced and an extruded aluminum frame with an ideal length for proper balance; an optional brake is included. Oh my goodness I’m rollerblading again! It’s been 24 years and I never realized how much I missed this. So these skates are perfect, they are huge, well made, and from all experience so far exceptionally tough. I’m 6’5” 405lb size15E feet… and these beauties fit like a perfectly sized glove. used to love skating as a kid, but at age 16 my foot was a size 16. Couldn't find or afford skates that fit me, so hung it up for 15 years. Now Rollerblade makes these XL skates, they look good, they fit great, and they skate even better. Love them and have been skating on these for exercise every day. Upgraded the wheels to some rollerblade hydrogen wheels and replaced the bearings with some SG9 bearings. Very quick and very stable. Don't assume that you need a bigger size that you actually need. You're probably here because you have 14+ and if you can squeeze in a 13 and it's really tight, don't get anything above a 14. The 14 is definitely a 14, no joke. If you're a 15 and you can fit a 14 tightly, go ahead and get the 14. They're big. The quality is insane. They're awesome as far as style and comfort go. The blades allow you to add general accessories to them. Your choice whether to put the stopper thing on it. (I prefer not to use that thing). But you've found it! The only roller blade that will work for you. Bigfoot can now ride in style (that's you, you're bigfoot). ... show more

I am 6' 3" tall and weight 195 lbs and wear Size 15 Saucony (and most other brands). I purchased these XL skates to replace 20+ year old ROCES skates since there are now limited large size options like these. First, I purchased Size 15 and they seem to have lots of forward toe room. I then purchased size 14 so I could choose which I wanted. I found little to no difference. 1st picture is the 2 skates side by side (14 top/ 15 bottom). 2nd image is size 14 with ruler. Size 15 is exactly the same from what I can measure visually. The boot width is also exactly the same width. When I put them on both feet and change to the other set, I personally cannot tell any difference. I suspect the manufacturer uses ALL the same hardware and might change the inside padded boot. Again, just suspecting but I can tell no difference. Maybe a slightly larger foot than mine would need a size 15 but I plan to keep the 14. Best of luck. Update: Been riding on these all year so far in 2026. I have put on over 500miles (7-10 miles each day I go out) and just changed the wheels. I rotated frequently but they lasted a long time. Wheels start at 90mm new and I was down to ~80mm with a calipers. I likely will replace the wheels sooner as it seems to effect speed and handling some when heavily worn. I did replace the stock bearing with Bones wheel bearings. Some work to take a part and clean periodically. Might consider better sealed bearings at some point. I did decide to adjust the frames with the screws on the bottom to attempt to not have my ankles and skates sag inwards and be more centered over the wheels. There is some adjustment play but the middle rear screw does not allow excessive play. ... show more

OK. So.. I'm not sure if it me, but the manufacturers are putting a little too tight of ridges in most skates. They dig into your ankle and hurt your ankle bones to much. These guys will not if you need a size up. The problem now turned to rubbing and hurting the arches of your feet because there is too much room. But that can be solved. Use lace locks to make the tongue Flex from the rubbing and get some gel inserts. Fills it just enough and pushes your foot down right to feel like slipper skates. Might take a bit more money. But saved me from giving up on skating all together. This skate is awesome. :-D ... show more

For size 15.5 shoe this fit me perfectly. It honestly was my only option in the price range. I have used these and haven't noticed any broken parts or weak points yet. Blades are supposed to be tight so it has taken some getting used to. They are different than hockey skates. They roll in crappy streets and even grass. I have not tried the break but I do believe it can be put on either or maybe both skates, on the rear ... show more

I have size 17 feet. These were one of the few pairs available in my size. These are great. Not only are they comfortable, but after 12 hours of use so far, the wheels are still pristine, I haven't chaifed in them, they breathe, the wheels are smooth, and they don't look like "doodoo farts".
