These lights are great. I had an older outdoor light string on my patio with now-defunct incandescent light bulbs that burned out and had to be replaced, along with the problem of having to be really careful with them because they were glass. And, there was no lighting function choice. Usher in the new (and much better) era of LED outdoor lights that are dimmable (a HUGE plus to me) and have different settings for fading and flashing. The remote (batteries are included) is really handy to be able to choose how bright you want them, which setting you want and has a timer function so you can set it to turn off when you want. The plastic bulbs are shatterproof (handy when kids are playing around them too) and the string is waterproof. This is the best light string for our yard and patio that I've seen. These outdoor string lights are hands down the very best! The quality is good and they work great! The packaging is totally on point and it's a piece of cake to use! I really like that the box includes 50 ft long string lights, a remote control, batteries, and am extra bulb just in case! I think it's great that they're very durable, waterproof, and dimmable too! Plus they can withstand various outdoor conditions such as rain, snow, sun exposure, humidity, and extreme temperatures as well! These lights are the perfect addition to my porch, they arent super bright so they dont create an extremely bright environment, but they give off a nice pleasant glow that makes everything visible while still keeping a relaxed atmosphere that also doesnt draw attention from the bugs.     • Nice Warm Glow, But Bulb Spacing is Far Apart
The media could not be loaded. The lights give a warm, cozy ambiance and are easy to hang, but the product photo makes the spacing look closer than it is. Each bulb is about 34 inches apart nearly 3 feet , so you get 15 bulbs total for the 50-foot length. This works well for a more subtle, spread-out look, but if you want a denser string of lights, you may need to order extra sets. This String of Shatterproof and Waterproof String of Lights are awesome as they combine with a Remote Control for your personal control options. Your preference for Brightness, Timing, on/off, and various fantastic lighting modes makes these lights a great choice. Also, at the plug end there is a control button that will provide on, off, breath and flash modes as basic functional controls without the Remote that will provide more functions as mentioned above. I really like the Remote Control that, IMHO, places this set of lights a big step above the competition. Instructions are included too that outline more specifics. Batteries for the remote are not included but, a spare light bulb is. This string of lights also have built-in safety features that will shut down in case of overload, for example, so they are great too for peace of mind during use. This strand is a great length and the bulbs are bright and the remote works really well. My only complaint is how much space there is between bulbs. Theres several feet between lights and I like a more densely lit strand personally but overall these lights are great.
