The media could not be loaded. This set of string light is awesome. It has three ways to control it. You can use the controller right on the actual power cord, the remote with endless features, or you can use the fairy smart app. There’s two sets of lights on the single strand. There are the café lights which are plastic and whether each assistant with a small hole for drainage so that condensation doesn’t build up inside. Then there are the smaller lights that are like fairy lights that run along the actual cord itself. Both of these lights )the café lights and the fairy lights) can be controlled as a set or individually. The café lights can be turned on and off independently from the fairy lights and vice versa. Not only can they be turned on and off independently but all of the color choices can be chosen independently from one another as well. They can also be controlled together and in complete sync and coordination with one another. There is endless options as far as molds and color choices with the two different strands being able to work together or separately. In addition to all the combo possibilities there’s dmx modes and a timer. I am extremely impressed with the brightness of the fairy lights. The café lights add a nice ambience, however, the fairy lights are so bright and vivid that they bring more lighting and visibility than even the cafe lights when the brightness is on high.

Great for outdoor events

The media could not be loaded. these lights can be put into use any time of year , and I say this because the first thing that comes to mind are Christmas lights. These are festive outdoor lights with more color options than most. The app can be easily downloaded and that will really optimize all the features and choices you have . You can go soft yellow lights which provides a rather smooth ambience or go full on RGB. With the app you can make them change color at your desire right from your smartphone. If you entertain outdoors you definitely want to consider a set such as this. The set goes along rather smooth and the instructions provided were very comprehensive and step by step. Very helpful for a non tech guy such as myself. Best of all they are simply plug in and play. No solar panels or rechargeable batteries.

Nice lights but the app will not connect in any devices

The lights look nice and you can change the colors and modes with the remote, but I can't get thr app to connect at all. I see the lights on my Bluetooth list but the app will not recognize them. Honestly, none of the buttons in the app seem to work. Personally I paid a bit more for these because I wanted something I could run on my phone. A bit disappointing, but I already have then installed on my house so I am not going to them down at this point to return them.
