Each bulb is made of very high quality and durable acrylic. The string of lights is plenty long enough at 100 ft. They look amazing on our back porch. They are very bright and the LED light bulbs are more energy efficient. The remote control is great to set the different modes and timer function. Very good price and value. I bought these to use as my fall/winter holiday lights on my front entryway. I put them up for Halloween (using the green and purple "chase" pattern) and I can keep them up for Xmas. There are several light patterns that will provide a festive light show no matter the season. I have the lights on a timer so they go on only at night, and keep the remote on the windowsill by the front door so it's easy to change the light pattern or just turn them off without having to mess with the timer and outdoor electrical between holidays. Great lights with lots of features. Installed under our outdoor kitchen Pergola. I used painted sheet metal screws installed in the hole on each bulb. I wish you could select a color for the wiring since my pergola is brown and the wiring is only available in black but still happy overall.

I needed to add light to my living room. After consulting an electrician the cost would be near $900 to upgrade my service and add in lights and a switch. I ordered these and hung them up on a wall overlapping them to have the lights closer to each other. They work perfectly and all the options are fun.
