I purchased this to run some grow lights that I am installing in a winter greenhouse in my garage and after getting the app setup on my smartphone and plugging everything in, it worked way better than I expected. It has 3 individually controllable outlets which I did not realize it had when I first purchased this device. You can name each outlet in the app and can set a timer on each outlet individually to run on a schedule if needed. I was really happy about that. I can run the grow lights and two other items in my garage off the same outlet. The instructions are a little confusing to be honest, but I was able to figure it out in just a few minutes by looking at some of the pictures. With Amazon Alexa integration, I am able to turn on the grow lights when I want by voice command via my Echo Show in the house through the Alexa Skill mentioned in the instructions. This is a Fantastic Outlet for the price and I highly recommend this item.

I bought 3 of these switches 3 years ago to control my outdoor Christmas lights. These worked so well I've converted the plugs to control my accent lighting during the rest of the year that my Christmas lights are not up. When I bought Bistro lights for my backyard I bought a 4th plug, it too has worked like a charm. To give you some background I'm a home automation nerd. If I can automate it. I've done it. I've worked with other smart plugs in the past and can say that they can sometimes be tricky, Not always wanting to connect to your wifi when they are 1st set up, or re-connect if there is a power outage. That was not the case with these. All 4 of mine connected to the smart life app without any issue, and after 3 years, I've never had an issue with them not auto reconnecting after a power outage. My units also live outdoors 24x7x365 and deal with seasonal weather changes. So far they are still going strong. In short would recommend this unit for the following reasons: > easiest Smart plug I've used to initialize on your wifi network > I've never had an issue reconnecting them to my wifi after a power outage > 3 years of living outdoors and they have survived so far. > The Smart Life App is really easy to work with > They connect and work with my Echo device seemlessly

I have several of these in operation. They last long and work well - except they do not reboot properly without internet access, which is strange and a negative mistake on the mfg part. This device does NOT perform power ons of remote device unless connected to the internet! Very misleading. When setting up a "scene" to restart a device or, in other words, power cycle it remotely I found a very serious problem: the timer appears to be on the app / phone / tablet!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The timer ***SHOULD*** have been set so that a restart script is sent to the device and it will turn off the outlet and then turn it back on from the device itself, but instead if you restart something that is on the internet and it loses an internet connection then the device will NEVER restart!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It is very important that this not be used on situations where you need it to be reliable or restart anything reliably in a remote fashion.

Works for a little while, but then eventually stopped working. Works great originally, but one side goes and then the other. Thankfully, they did. Send me a new one in the beginning of this season, but that one is no longer works. Might work for smaller set ups, but not for my pool pump.

This Smart Plug outdoor 3-way switch is exactly what I was looking for for my outdoor fountain. My fountain has two power cords - one for the fountain and one for the lights. I wanted a Smart Plug that works with WiFi and Alexa and that offers independent time scheduling for each outlet. Most of the Smart Plugs out there only allow you to set one schedule that applies to all of the outlets. This works with the SmartLife App, which I already use to control all of the Smart Plugs in my home, so adding this outlet switch was super-easy. This Smart Plug allows me to schedule my fountain to turn on at 6am and off at 9:45pm, and the lights turn on at 6:30pm and off at 9pm, so it's fantastic! When I need to clean the fountain, I just ask Alexa to turn off my fountain and she does her thing. I absolutely love this Outlet Switch and highly recommend.

We use this on our above ground pool to control the pool filter pump, and in pool lighting. Load the app. onto your phone and you have remote access to the control and are able to program the switch programing. It works great.
