I bought this gazebo because it was permanent and was painted black which was a match for my gray deck. My experience with this purchase is worth the read. The gazebo is shipped in three large heavy boxes. The first box to arrive was the roof. A few days later the remainder of the gazebo arrived. I opened the directions which seemed pretty clear and began assembly. The first thing was to cut off the right angle part of the hex wrench supplied. While I'm sure you could assemble this structurte using this hand tool, it works much better when chucked into a power drill. Throw the included screwdriver away. It broke almost immediately. I began assembly with the legs and horizontal attaching bars. While building the last leg and its horizontal bar I realized a problem. The manufacturer had mislabeled one of the horizontal bars incorrectly. Instead of having 2 pairs of bars that were mirror images of each other, I now had three one and one of the other. All progress stopped. I called Amazon who immediately got in touch with the supplier. The next day I got a UPS tracking number for the missing part. Strangely, UPS said the part weighed 36 pounds. When it arrived I discovered that the manufacturer/supplier sent the box that had the part and all the other parts that were included in the box. Well that seemed silly but the real problem was that the supplier had sent the WRONG box. Contacting Amazon again the supplier sent the correct part along with the other parts contained in its box totaling 80 pounds. So, I finally received the correct 5 pound part along with enough steel and aluminum to partially make another gazebo. Unfortunately the leff over parts went to the recycler. Why the one part couldn't be removed and sent is a mystery. The whole delivery process took approximately 2 weeks. I'm glad I didn't have to send back the extra because it is amazing how all the parts are packaged in relatively small boxes. In any event, the gazebo is well made and appears to be quite strong. I plan on leaving it up all year long on snowy Long Island.

Make sure you have all the pieces before you begin Instructions were a little hard to read had missing pieces which slow down the job glad I wasn’t paying anybody to install it missing main support pieces came about three weeks later so far it’s holding up very well

The end result is a beautiful addition to the garden area. The structure is attractive and the color finish is matte and it’s very stable. The gazebo is a welcome addition! Biggest challenge was putting it together; will need 3 or 4 very patient people! I would recommend this product.

I was very excited to start putting it together but couldn't believe what was shipped after seeing the parts. I can't comment on the stability, sturdiness and whether it is easy to assemble or not. All I can say is that it came with parts that has been used before or damage. I notified the seller on May 8 and haven't gotten a response. I will be sending it back. Disappointed that i have to find another seller and wait for it to be delivered.

I didn’t like that it took 3 people 8 hours to assemble, not an easy project, price was over, I like the results beautiful and I builted a metal sheet deck so it looks awesome

We have had this Gazebo up for about 9 months now. I wanted to wait to review it and see how it lasted through the seasons. First of all the assembly was NOT difficult if you have any sense of putting things together. If you can't assemble something simple from IKEA then I would steer clear of this. You do need 2 people to put it together. One person to hold it while the other screws it in place. My husband and I had the whole thing set up in about 3.5 hours. We chose not to use the curtain that comes with it but instead used the curtain hooks to hang some lights. We had a few pieces that came damaged with a few deep scratches and a few dents in them. I reached out the company and shared the photos and they quickly offered a percentage back with left us alright with dealing with the damaged panels. My husband did secure this to our patio but it has been through some severe storms and hasn't budged. We have had lots of heavy rain, high winds, and about 2 feet of snow and it has withstood all of it and it still looks brand new. The roof is vented which keeps it cool in the summer and allows the wind to blow though however it doesn't let the rain in at all. It looks much nicer then the cheap gazebos from the department stores. We love it and would buy it again.
