    • Does what it says and portability is a HUGE plus!
If you've never experienced "Shiatsu" style massage, do read up on it. Imagine 3 or 4 semi-hard balls rotating and moving around your troubled area. Of course you can apply as much pressure as desired but this ISN'T like a "vibrating" type of massage. It's more aggressive. Again, do some research before purchase to see if this is indeed what you seek and could handle. The massager arrived well packaged and came with instructions, a charger, charging cord, remote control and even a charging cord for the car with one end's plug designed for a cigarette lighter socket in a car. (If you have one) It DOES take 3-4 hours to fully charge and during that time you'll see a "red" light glowing on the charger. Once charged, the light turns green and you're good to go...literally. I LOVE the fact it's portable and you don't have to mess with extension cords and wires. The remote allows for automatic or self chosen settings for intensity, rotation, heat and styles. The heat isn't extreme but it's there. You'll know when the heat is turned on because the unit glows red. (Best seen in soft lighting) I walk a fair amount and if I forget to stretch first, I do have an issue with a calf muscle. When the unit arrived, I did have some pain there so experimented with that issue. As expected the little balls inside went to work rotating and kneading the area. I added heat and kept it up for about 5 minutes. Within a few minutes later, the pain was gone. I then tried it on my neck and although I didn't have any neck pain, the area did feel better afterwards. Overall, it's a nice unit and I was going to give it 4 stars but the portability factor pushed it to five. My back hurts occasionally after long hours of working in front of computer. I need a back massage that is portable. This little gadget gets me to that level. I really enjoy its massage level. The little smooth balls rolling around is giving me enough pressure but not overkill my body. And most importantly, it can be portable, which means I can move anywhere I want and use it anywhere I want. The only one minor point. Is that the remote cannot turn the machine on. I have to turn on the gadget first to utilize the remote. And it will auto shutoff around 15~20mins (didn't really count it). I used two rounds and it still had battery to continue.     • Nice little versatile massager
This has good battery life and definitely does a good job. I like that it is easy to move around on your back and I've even used it on my calves which get quite tight. The heating aspect is really nice although it takes a little while for that to get going. The pocket in the side is convenient to store the remote. Note that it doesn't charge while plugged in, so you need to have it charged before you use it. I try to plug it in after most uses and it hasn't died on my yet (other than initially because I hadn't charged it out of the box) so I would say the battery life is quite good. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Cons: the heating aspect of it is only in the middle of the leather part. I wish it was on the rollers I feel like that would have felt better. You can see the placement of the heating element in the picture with the cover off. I'm sure the cover isn't meant to come off since it doesn't have a zipper handle. But I stuck something through it which allowed me to look in the inside. (Pictured) Pros: it has a wall and one for an auxiliary power outlet. (For vehicles) I love that it switches direction and doesn't just rotate one way. Comfortable to lay on with a small pillow at the top remote tucks away nicely and secured on the side. Completely portable no cords attached is amazing. It still runs will on the charger which is nice. Remote can be turned off to save battery life and massager will still run. Fully wipeable if something is spilled on it or for sanitation. ... show more

If I had all the money in the world I would definitely hire a massuese to just follow me around 24/7, and I would pop face first down into bed whenever I wanted a massage and they would be at my Beck and call. Sadly, my dream is not looking to become a reality anytime soon so these little machine massagers are as close as I can get. It actually works pretty well to break up the knots, it can get a little bit rough at times for me personally. But you can always just adjust your position or something. It works well, and the fact that it's totally portable is really nice. You can also use it on various parts of your body, so it's good just to have around if you're feeling some soreness and you just want to take care of it quickly. ... show more

    • One of the better shiatsu massagers I have used
I haven't had much luck with finding a shiatsu massager that doesn't dig to deep for me until I found this one. This massager is comfortable to use unlike many others i have tried. Its easy to get more pressure if you want to to not apply so much pressure either. This massager is also battery powered or can be plugged into you wall or a power socket in your car (it comes with both connections). Its easy to use and the controls are intuitive. It also comes with a remote so you can adjust the settings. It powers off automatically after 15 minutes to prevent over use. While this is advertised as being for the neck and shoulders I personally don't know how well it works on my shoulders. But it does feel good on my neck and I also use it on my lower back where it feels fantastic. I don't say this often when it comes to shiatsu massagers but with al of its combined features I do recommend this one. ... show more
