It actually smells like Jasmine. I've tried the P&J brand one and that one is mixed with something else. It smells musty and very 'perfumy' rather than pure just plain old Jasmine flowers. This brand actually smells sweet and Jasmine-y. I was willing to hop from brand to brand until I find a true Jasmine oil, and I'm glad it only took two brands before I found it. Would order again if I need more. It wasn't packaged very well though, just the glass bottle in one layer of bubble wrap. It didn't break but I was surprised it didn't because it was in a loose box with another 10 lb box of wax. But that's amazon's fault not the company. ... show more

Great scent! I really enjoy this. I purchased this when I first started making candles. It definitely wowed me! I couldn’t believe I could make a functional candle that smelled so great!

    • Smells Great - but not for soap!

Lesson learned. I should have read the reviews before purchasing. The fragrance is wonderful. But, I used it in a 5-lb batch of cold processed soap and it seized immediately upon mixing it in. So, if you plan to use this for soap - don't.
