It blocks the sun coming into the house which is great! Plus side is that I can flip it around to retain heat during the winter season. So far it blocked the Texas Sun out, not so much the heat, but has helped retain warmth.

The media could not be loaded. We were looking for a blackout curtain but didnt really have a place to put curtain rod and debated whether to make holes on the wall and install everything to put the curtain. It is not easy with our rental apartment because there are window shades that are sticking out so we wondered how to install another rod whether on too or inner the shade. While we were debating, time passed and our baby came out and had hard time sleeping with the light in the room. This curtain just solved everything for us. No need to make holes on the wall nor need to buy rod or other more expensive curtain things. It is a thin blackout material that is so easily attachable to the window with just few sticker things. And it is working so great. My baby has been sleeping so well ever since this installment and we are so happy with this product!

I work night shifts so I’m usually asleep during the day. Unfortunately I have large windows in my bedroom that let in a ton of light. This curtain ultimately worked pretty well but I had to do a lot of extra things to reach that point. For one, the curtain comes super wrinkled which makes it hard to lay flat and each wrinkle lets light in. Secondly the sticky patches it comes with aren’t very sticky at all, I had to use a ton of packing tape to get the curtain to stick. Otherwise it blocks out light pretty well.

Easy to cut to fit. Goes up very fast. Velcro is strong. Completely blocks all light. I bought it to help keep my living room cooler in the summer and it is 100% helping. It’s almost 10° cooler now.

Seemed like a good idea for my RV windows, but the tape just doesn't stick in the hot desert sun. Very thin material, like a plastic table cloth. Blue on one side and very shiny silver on the other side. I don't know what I'm going to do with these now since they can't withstand heat even though that seems to be what they were designed to do. Don't waste your money on these you'll just be disappointed like I was. If it's hotter than 88 degrees where you live the tape won't stick. Guess I need to find some other way to endure the desert heat, not fun when it gets over 100 degrees. May be good if you just want to block light on an unsunny side of the house. Doesn't live up to its claims. I wouldn't recommend this product to anyone.
