As a visual artist who relies on natural lightbulbs to get accurate color indoors, I've used a variety of OtteLite lamps for decades. I have several that are still going strong after many years of use. They've always been the best choice for me, whether a big floor lamp or a smaller, folding table lamp. I've considered them work lamps, so their design has taken a back seat to function most of the time. This wired, small table lamp is a simple and basic design, with a small footprint and excellent light. It's easy to turn on and off and changing the temperature of the light, from warm to cool (yellow to bluish) is very easy, as is changing the strength from dim to brightest. There are three levels of both color and intensity. The instructions are totally easy to understand and follow. I especially mention wired at the beginning of this paragraph because none of the photos in the listing show a wire running from the back of the lamp to the outlet. The lamp does not work unless it is plugged in, and that could be confusing because the listing does mention that there is wireless charging for compatible devices. BUT the lamp itself is not wireless. Ottlite may have other lamps that are wireless, but this one isn't. The only reason I gave this four instead of five stars is that it seems a bit lightweight. It's all plastic, no metal, and the base could have been heftier. It hasn't fallen over but I haven't tried to put the neck into any extreme shape. The base is wide enough so I could put something heavy on it if necessary. It's great as a task light, especially for detailed or close work. The light is strong enough for me but It doesn't cover a big area. Because the light is directed downward, there's no glare in my eyes when I work, and that's great. Love this. It definitely lights the way! Fits anywhere and the 3 light settings are just right for all your illumination needs. The phone charger is a big plus! Highly recommend and would purchase again.

This desk lamp has 3 intensity settings and is not glaring like some small desk lamps. I have a small office at home and it is just right.

This is the review of OTTlite LED Desk lamp with wireless charging. This is a desk lamp with around 1.5 feet of neck which is very flexible for your convenience. The light is not strong enough to replace your own ceiling light but as enough light to illuminate your desk or work area. It has a touch activated button to change brightness and if you hold it, it can change temperature. It also has a wireless charger that can charge your phone or earphones as long as they support wireless charging or qi charging. The charging speed is not what you would call fast so don't expect anything much. Issue I have is that when you charge something, you will see the device will dim. I guess they did not accommodate the amount of power it will use. The price also feels higher for a desk lamp. I has a Clearsun LED technology that I can't tell or I am not aware of its advantage. If you know what it is for and you need this, I would suggest you purchase this. ... show more
