Was very irritated at first because it would turn off right as I was in the middle of something. Sometimes it would stay on for an hour, sometimes it would turn itself off after just a minute or two. Had to keep turning it back on. The one I replaced , Ott light, was doing the same thing... I'd had it over 5 years, so I just assumed it was time to replace it .
