I was looking for some light to put on my deck and it did the trick. Would have given a 5 if one the lights would have not failed already. Will certainly drop my review rating lower if the rest of the set fails. Time will tell. Pros: - Pretty strong lights and a nice trapezoid light projection toward the base which helps see the edges of the deck on the floor as well. - Not expensive compare to other brands (assuming the rest of the set will last) - Relatively easy to mount if you have a little bit of experience using screw drivers, measuring and leveling. Cons: - One of the lights failed less than 15 days since mounted to my deck which does not inspire confidence. Moved into a home with a fairly large yard, and we had some solar fence lights left from the previous owner but they were ultra bright and didn’t match eachother so I wanted to get something more visually appealing but still offer some light for the far ends of the yard when my dogs go out at night. I could tell right out of the box these wouldn’t be bright - so to maybe help I mounted them about 3’ from the ground since they’re just so I can see my dogs anyways. I hung them 6’ apart on the fence. The shine from each light maybe hits a 2’ square on the ground right below them - nowhere else. Way too dim, legitimately pointless for a light source. They look nice, easy to install, the color changing feature was cute and I thought I’d use that around the holidays. But yeah, I guess I need something a little more industrial. I honestly didn’t think these lights would last as long as they have so far. Two years and three months later and they’re still doing great. I have one on my shed, one on the front of the house and the rest in the back yard. There is once over the winter I thought they were finally going out just turned out they didn’t get enough sun. Super shocked and impressed they’re very bright love the fact they turn on with movement. Great little extra piece of security. PS live on the coast of NC, and it doesn’t seem this salt air has messed with them. ... show more
