The OTD eBike is an excellent entry-level electric mountain bike that offers great value for its price. It's a perfect choice for beginners looking to get into mountain biking or anyone who wants a comfortable ride on easy to moderate trails. On pedal assist (speed 2), the bike easily delivers over 60 miles of range, which is impressive for casual trail rides or longer weekend adventures. When using throttle only, you can expect around 25 to 30 miles on mostly flat terrain with minor hills, and it holds a solid top speed of 28 mph. This e-bike really surprised me with its sustainability and quality, really a game changer! After doing ton of research on getting a e-bike for my commute, I finally decided on this OTD electric bike. Sure there are cheaper options out there, but most of them only have a range of around 20 miles. However, this bike can ride up to 43 miles! As someone who don't like to charge frequently, this one definitely caught my eye with it's riding range. I also prioritize long lasting capabilities and safety of the battery. The last thing I want is to be stuck somewhere with my e-bike that ran out of power. With OTD, I can get the peach of mind that I will always have enough juice to go places. It is super convenient for my daily commute and also good looking and can go pretty fast as you desire. It came with a bunch of cool gadgets that I found really helpful, like the phone holder and headlights. Overall, highly recommend! ... show more

Pros & Cons Pros light enought to be carried up multiple flights of my apartment stairs or any stairs for that matter I consistently hit 28.1 MPH top speed at 155 pounds as a rider. Pedals assist is nice and responsive. Bike never feels clunky. Gears shift smoothly. Half twist throttle (i can't stand thumb throttle it doesn't feel as cool lol) A full twist would've been superb but that can be added after market with the three prong connection system the throttle has. Easily replaceable. Impressive range for a budget. Truly feel like I can take her anywhere although I consistently use the train in conjunction with my commutes. Charges quickly and doesn't need to be charged for days depending on the length of your commutes. I've gone a couple days without charging it. Rode with confidence. Power delivery when it starts to die isn't noticeable. It's a powerful bike even on its last 2-1 bars. I haven't taken her on a trail yet but would love to and plan on doing so. I mostly Urban Freeride with her to my work and train commutes. Comfy Stock Seat designed for long commutes and it doesn't look ugly. Cons Super difficult to put together, terrible instructions, even for my partner who is good with bikes and other mechanical things. If I didn't have a e bike repair man look over it I probably could've gotten really hurt. If you are putting it together yourself be ready to risk it all if you don't know much about bikes. Have a professional look over it. It won't be too expensive to do that and it's worth it. Could be your life. Terrible tires. Absolutely do not use these stock tires but if you MUST please for the love of God carry tire sealant of some kind at the very least it will make you have a very bad day. Especially if you live in Southern California those Goatheads pop your stock tires like a party store balloon. I got a double flat within the first 2 to 3 rides on this bike. All because a stupid goat head Thornes. I run a set up with 2 N 1 Tire and Tube Sealant from the Slime company and a Bike Frame pump from Blackburn. It has saved me from not being able to get to and from work multiple times already. Phone holder was basically useless for me considering my phone is too big for it I guess and I don't want to risk having to take off my phone case to use it and its the only way my phone fits on the holder. Display is one of those cheaper ones but its surprisingly bright and you can angle it for better viewing so a pro and a con at the same time lol Motor is getting a little louder noticeablely at 130 miles but I ride it hard and I probably need to just chill. I really like this bike it was hard to come up with cons you really can't go wrong for a bike this budget it really is the best eMTB hardtail on the market for beginners and intermediate e riders. ... show more

    • Great intermediate gravel E-bike
I am 5-6 and so this bike is a little small for me. It has 29 inch tires so the height-weight balance is not quite 100%, but I can ride it comfortably. For the price point you get a great product with an easy installation. It took me 2/5h's because I did on the floor by myself. If you have a bike holder or two people you will cut your time in half. On to the pros and cons. Con's- its a small frame making it not as easy to work with if you decide to add a storage rack, upon arrival the brakes were week and I had to get them fixed at a shop. the frame of the bike is light, mixed in with the speed it can get tricky to control if you live on bendy streets. the light provided is good for what it is but if you want better visibility you will need to get a new brighter light. At the end your looking at around 20$ to over 100$ on adjustments and add-ons. my charger slightly heats up, and if you push the bike the battery starts to heat. It is not a bike to have fun on. It's too small and fast to do jumps and push down hill. Pro's-- The bike looks great, and it functions as a great alternative for getting from a to b in a safe and quickly manner. The light is also a pro because if you add light attachments and the lights dies you will always have a decently bright light to guide you through the night while being seen. It has a horn and comes with a small but useful kickstand. the brakes are smooth when tightened. Overall it's a great bike for it's price point of 470, and I do recommend it to anyone who has long legs or is shorter than 5/6. cheers and always ride with a strong helmet. ... show more
