On the basics of what a blender should do, this Oster is quite good, if noisy. However, the controls are a bit confusing and there's little in the way of instructions on how to use them. "Easy to clean" gets a middling rating because I can't find any information as to the advisability of putting the non-electric parts in a dishwasher.     • STAY AWAY FROM THIS AWFUL BLENDER!
I gave "easy to clean" a one star, not because the blender itself is hard to clean, but because it sends liquid onto the wall and floor and THAT is hard to clean! The touch controls on this unit are VERY hard to use and VERY finicky. Sometimes they work and sometimes they do not. This blender can drive you NUTS. Also, the rubber ring is difficult to place in the correct position, and your fingers wind up next to sharp blades while you are doing it. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR: keep away from this blender, and pick a different one. You have been warned. Also, the guarantee is not worth a dime. A 3 year Satisfaction Guarantee is advertised, but when you look at the actual guarantee it is far different. I am definitely NOT SATISFIED with this blender, and I bought it just nine months ago, so I should be able to get coverage from their 3-year Satisfaction Guarantee. I can't get no satisfaction, as the Rolling Stones said in their famous song! Not from Amazon, and not from Oster. When you try to look up the guarantee on the Oster website, you cannot even find this product listed. They must be ashamed of it, as they should be. ... show more

I love my blender! I replaced my old blender because it wasn’t doing the job. This exceeded all my expectations. This will chop, blend and make the best smoothies. Plus the touch screen is phenomenal!

    • Touch screen malfunctions, overheats + overpriced
If the touch screen function would work properly this would be an OK blender, especially with how easy it is to clean, and how nice and weighty the glass component is. However, the touch screen is almost laughably unresponsive, and every time I used the blender it would immediately overheat, giving off a burning rubber smell, and because the screen doesn't work I'd find myself rushing to unplug it from the wall. I considered many blenders before landing on this one; I believe I made the wrong, overpriced choice. ... show more
