Like it , it is easy to clean , the knob that holds down toast actually works the last 2 failed the knob actually stayed in .. like it should have done with the previous toasters .The glue holding knob got warm and failed , So knob was gone I used it with a player to lower the toast . This is a nice toaster that does a good job on bread, English muffins, etc. I like the button that extends the cook time for bagels. I'm used to simply pulling up on the lever to interrupt a toast cycle, but instead, there's a button for that. Presumably, I'll adjust to that difference. ;-) However, I'm having trouble adjusting to the loss of a feature my previous toaster had- a bell (mechanical!) that rang when the toast cycle completed. This toaster requires me to keep looking over at it to see if it has finished so I can butter my toast while it's still hot. It looks great, and does a nice job in every other way. But I sure wish it had a audible notification that the toast cycle was over. First world problem, I know. But feeling so sad, I had to dock it one of the five stars. ;-) ... show more

My immediate shock was the color. I thought it would be a true red. I would call it "pomegranate" if I had to name it. It works fine though, so decided to keep it. If you know Galanz retro appliances it is not their color red at all. It is even more purplish than my photo shows.

Very cute retro toaster, had a funny smell when I opened the box and during the first couple of toasts. I recommend running it without bread a few times to get the smell to go away. Doesn't toast super evenly, but good enough, especially for the price.

Love the look of this toaster which is mostly why we bought it. Only complaint is the lever doesn’t always stay down on the first try when pushing it down to toast. I often have to push it down a few times before it will stay out and start toasting. Could be a defect on ours, and it’s not that big of a deal, but not perfect. ... show more

This is a very good Toaster. There's so many settings to toast with any kind of bread, bagel, French Toast, etc. It toasts evenly. Ilove the blue color choice and I'd buy this again!
