These clippers are phenomenal... Close cuts and bald fades are so easy with these. They are so quiet and powerful but I would get the upgraded guards the plastic ones aren't that good.

Durable and long lasting.

The machine works great. I buy the oil to prevent rusting of the blades and it has been working since I first purchase. I cut mine and my son's hair. I love the purple color. It is a sturdy and powerful machine, while being safe. You might want to find some different attachments if youre trying to use more than the 3 to 4 clip attachments offered. Very easy to use with a 4 to 5 foot cord length.

I'm a woman who shaves my head myself. I bought these as a step up from the $10 clippers I had been using, but the first time I used these I ended up finishing with the cheap pair anyways. The biggest problem with clippers is the guards/combs that come with it. First of all, they are ridiculous/inaccurate lengths. The #2 is more like a 4, not nearly short enough. They're hard to put on and are cheap plastic that bend and snap. I got the Andis purple magnetic attachments and they work great and fit perfectly. So I use these clippers just fine now with the new guards, but for $70 they should come with functional attachments.
