Description

To restore your vehicle's factory cooling efficiency, all TYC radiators are equivalent to OE construction for number and placement of fluid tubes and cooling fins. For those radiators with transmission oil coolers, the tanks are molded using heat-resistant, high-density polymer plastic for added protection against extreme engine temperatures. Each TYC radiator is leak-tested before leaving the factory to ensure consistent quality.

    • Works great for a 2000 Toyota Corolla manual transmission!
Drop in replacement for 2000 Corolla 5-speed. Installation was fairly painless (although it did involve crawling around underneath the front of the car a bit). NOTE: this is the radiator "tank" ONLY. You will need to re-use several parts from your old radiator (assembly). These include all hoses (and overflow bottle), the fan assembly (and screws), the radiator cap AND the the two rubber bumpers from the bottom of the radiator tank. Once installed (and air bubbles purged) the car was back to its old self. Sooooo much cheaper than the repair shop and a fix practically anyone can do (there a plenty of "how to guides" on the web). NOTE.... it is necessary to "rev" the engine a bit to help the water pump "burp" out the air bubbles once the radiator is filled. Highly recommended part! Cheers! ... show more

    • No more overheating in 1999 Toyota Corolla, for some time at least
By the time I replaced this, I had to keep the heater on full blast when driving to keep my temperature needle going above halfway. I had replaced some fan relays, the thermostat, and the engine coolant temperature sensor with no resolution. But then I replaced the old radiator (along with the hoses and radiator cap) with this one. It was an exact fit and now I can blast the A/C on max in all driving conditions this summer! EDIT 3/10/2020: The overheating problem is back, exact same symptoms as before. I'm probably going to replace the radiator again, just not with this brand. ... show more

The radiator is a little bit smaller than the OEM. The three up fasteners won't line up with the cooling fan brackets

Great OEM fit. Auto zone and pep boys wanted $110. Amazon had it for half that and got it within two days. Took about 10-15 minutes to replace and it keeps my 98 toyota corolla running cool.

Lo único que debes de comprar por aparte son nuevas fajas que aprietan las mangueras donde corre el anticongelante, también los soportes de caucho donde se monta el radiador (que hace que el radiador y el chasis no se unan) ya que pueda ser que esten en mal estado también. ... show more
