I picked up a set of these along with the Omnicord Fast Feed ceramic blade and the Anids Dual Magnetic Guards. This is a great setup and I highly recommend them. Self cut my own hair now. Very easy to cut your own hair, if you watch a few videos from "Tips for Clips" on youtube.

My household's hair grew so long during shelter-in-place. I needed an immediate solution (as well as instructional videos from YouTube). I'm soooo glad that I purchased this electric clipper from Oster -- it is perfect in every way...easy to set up; easy to use; quick cutting with no hair-pulling; easy to clean up, oil, and store. The purchase also comes with a few guard/comb attachments (...not sure what these are called) and oil. Advice -- do not throw away the plastic clipper blade guard. I watched a video where a barber said that this will be needed to protect your blade. So glad that I didn't throw this protective part away, because it also helps keep the oil from getting on things. This Oster is so much better than a Wahl clipper that I purchased from Costco a few years ago; that Wahl clipper (battery rechargeable) completely died after just a few years; what a waste. This Oster has already saved me money (as the average haircut around here is $25 dollars not including tip). ... show more

Really not all the rage everyone was taking about. My husband has super thick asain hair and believe me the clippers are not worth the extra money. First the blade guards that come with the unit are terrible, but instead I had to buy the competitions (andi's blade guard) with the magnetic clip. Second the teeth are way too far apart and it makes for an extremely sloppy fade. Again I am all about value in my purchases and I feel like the wahl's I first purchased work better then these. ... show more

Best close cut shave I’ve ever had . Have to say the stock blade does not zero gap so you have to buy a ceramic blade that runs faster cooler and stays sharper longer to make this cutter exceptional.fast feed ceramic blade bought here on amazon which another review pointed me to blade

I desperately need some clippers as all barber shops are currently closed thanks to our governor. I have never used a pair of clippers before but was able to get a half decent results by using the different guides supplied. My favorite! This machine is quiet just like everyone says it is and still has the power. Pros: Light weight, metal casing, looks great, quiet, works with andis two magnet purple guards, can be zero gapped. Cons: zero gapping isn't as easy as other man machines

I'm a woman who shaves my head myself. I bought these as a step up from the $10 clippers I had been using, but the first time I used these I ended up finishing with the cheap pair anyways. The biggest problem with clippers is the guards/combs that come with it. First of all, they are ridiculous/inaccurate lengths. The #2 is more like a 4, not nearly short enough. They're hard to put on and are cheap plastic that bend and snap. I got the Andis purple magnetic attachments and they work great and fit perfectly. So I use these clippers just fine now with the new guards, but for $70 they should come with functional attachments. ... show more
