I opened them up and the block is damaged in 2 spots, one shown in pic. Multiple knives are scratched up and the orange pieces are flaky on a few. I don’t want to deal with a return over this, but I think I would’ve liked to scratch the knives during my ownership of them instead of them being prescratched and damaged. But, they are nice looking and look sharp. I like the array of different types for the price. Looks nice in my kitchen. The handles seem to have a good grip.
