In the beginning it was getting disconnectted or was not working properly on and off and I thought it was due to the battery issues of the remote and replaced it then it continued working but the issue returned even after the batter of the re mote control was replaced. Then I continued resetting it to be able to use it, which took a lot of effort. Fast forward to 6 months later it simply stopped working. This time replacing the battery of the remote control resetting the curtain bot itself didn't help now it's sitting on my desk as a dead weight. I hoped they may have some type of warranty for this item but no, they don't have it. Be warned it only works for a little bit. The signs were present in the beginning which I ignored now it isn't working, no warranty and can't even refund my money.

Just ok. Does the job, but not smoothly. Just sounds like it’s struggling. I haven’t had it long enough but it seems like battery life is going to be a problem. One of them doesn’t stop on its own after it opens. You have to push the stop button on the remote for it to stop working. The other one does it automatically like it’s supposed to. I don’t think it’s worth the money paid and it gets stuck at times.

Instructions were not well written but it was easy to figure out how to install. Batteries are lasting a long time which is very pleasing. The only disappointment is the remote. Manufacturer says it has been programed in the factory to work with the system but my remote does not work. I called and could not get a "live" person. I left a message that was never returned. Luckily the phone app is great and I programmed the curtains to open and closes at designated times so I can pretty much live using the phone app despite the problem with the remote.

This is the 2nd time I am attempting to get my curtains converted to smart curtains. My first attempt was with a similar Product from Switchbot, but that was not able to move my curtains at all. With this one at least i was able to move the curtains a few times. But they still get stuck after a couple of times trying with the remote. They plastic chain with clips helps a bit to avoid the curtains from getting stuck, but they dont hold on to the cloth really well. After a couple of moves they gets detached from the curtains, causing the curtains to be stuck again on move. The plastic clips are not strong too. I am pretty sure they will be broken soon. The units are already paired with the remote control, so they worked right away. However the instructions were not clear on how to make them move to left of right when used with dual curtains. When I pressed open, one of them opens and the other closes the curtain. And there is no way on the remote or the unit to reverse the direction. The Switchbot ones were better in that sense. At least they had worked as a pair after the initial setup. May be they have some way to fix this once I am able to connect to the Smart phone app. Each set of these came with a Wifi Gateway. I had to plug it into a USB connector. Found an extra phone charger and was able to get it plugged in. Once I had it plugged in, adding it into the smartphone was pretty straight forward. It detected the gateway and added an entry named 'smart curtain robot' in the app. But thats all that worked. Clicking on that just keeps showing some scrolling icons, as if it is searching for the curtains, but nothing happens even after waiting for 30+ minutes. I had ordered two set of dual curtain robots. both of them had the exact same problem in connecting to the Gateway. So I am not able to control the curtains with the smartphone at all, which defeats the whole purpose of spending 300+ bucks for two pairs like this. If I cannot get this connected, then definitely it is going to be returned.

It works really good and I don't have problem connecting it to my Alexa device, the only thing is, it rolls for 30secs, which my rod is not that long, tried alexa to stop but it won't let me. But you can control it to your phone/remote to stop it. Which is good! Overall it is great item and very convenient!

Received an obviously used product (some of the ties on cords had been removed, dirty remote (looked like makeup on it), and remote and controller backing have been removed with some sort of tool as you can see the marks dug into the plastic as well as the peicesbon the controller have been damaged and will not click back in correctly. That being said, it was easy to set up on the app and worked through that. It does not, however, work through the Alexa app. It sets up and links the app but will not control the curtains so it's basically useless as I would have to hunt down my phone or the remote to work them which would take longer than sliding the curtain open myself. Will be returning this and do not suggest anyone else purchase it (you'll probably receive my previously used one if you buy it anyway lol).
