The media could not be loaded. Hello there, nice to meet you! ;o) Like most people, I believe in being prepared. That said, I'm facing major abdominal surgery in two weeks. I know I'm going to need support while I heal for several weeks after. I stumbled on this breathable, supportive abdominal binder on Amazon and ordered it on the spot. The good news is that the sizing chart is really on the money! I can feel the gentle support, yet it lets me move easily. I love the fact it will keep my stitches in place and it doesn't roll over on the top or bottom edges like another abdominal binder I tried. All told, the fit and comfort is great. The not-so-good news is that the gripping velcro tends to shred the binder's fabric. After only one dry run to determine how well this 'belt' will fit... upon taking off the extra clingy velcro (or hook and loop portion) of this binder, the underlying wrap fabric really started shredding/tearing to a great degree. I confess, it was startling to watch! I attempted to show this 'effect' on both video and still images of the aftermath of taking the binder off, and one thought comes to mind: how long will this wonderful device last? I'm going to hazard a guess of a couple of months, of which is the time I really need to wear this post-surgery. That said, I believe this item is not meant to be disposable that way. I would want, and I'm sure others too, for this to last at least 6 months to a year for support with daily use. This may be a hindrance for some, and it does give me pause. However, for me, I haven't found a better option as yet. This will have to do for now. To wrap this review up (pun intended ;o), I still recommend this ORTONYX Binder for the short term. The comfort and fit speaks for itself! ;o) Give this affordable ORTONYX 9 inch, 3-panel Abdominal Binder for Men and Women a try... I really am impressed with the high quality of this Ortonyx Performance 9” abdominal binder. There is a very helpful instruction sheet included. The package it comes in is resealable, which is nice for storage. The packaging says designed in the US and made in China. Overall, this is a quality abdominal binder that is made to fit comfortably and it has a very secure Velcro closure.

This isn't an uncomfortable binder. The pressure is even and it fits well. Unfortunately, I wouldn't recommend this for anyone looking for a long-term solution. It feels cheaply made, and it's already beginning to fall apart.

Ordered this because I have an incision hernia from gallbladder removal surgery. It works well and is comfortable to wear. The fabric is starting to get a little fuzzy where the velcro has grabbed the fibers so many times, but it still works just fine.

I got this binder for some back issues I was having and I have to say it is super comfortable and I felt a lot more support wearing it. It is made of a stretchy elastic fabric that molded right into my body type with ease. It didn't feel hot or too tight with the breathable fabric it's made of. I'm pleased with this binder.
