Truth be told, I have not tested the warmth of this coat yet (going to Iceland in October) but it feels like it's going to do the trick. I was shying away from white thinking about it getting dirty, but I'm so happy I purchased it. The color looks great and I know I can simply wipe it off when it gets dirty. It fits great overall and the hood will provide good protection from the elements. I'll be able to wear layers underneath easily. I'll tell you more after our trip!

I just moved to NE Wisconsin and it is cold. This coat kept me warm in 40F degree with cold winds. I like the cuffs that keep the cold/wind off of the arms. Th length is nice. I thought the sides unzipped completely. They do not. They unzip to provide about an inch and a half of extra space on each side. The coat also unzips from the bottom up, so if you need a wider stance to sit, you’ve got it. There is no tie on the hood but I used the toggles to keep it tightly closed. I’m very happy with this coat. Sizing info: I am 5’3” and 130 lbs. I wear size 4 jeans and usually a small top. I did go with the medium and I am glad I did. The sleeves are quite narrow. You could not wear a bulky sweater under this coat (which is good for me. I like to wear many thin layers).

Updated 6/20: I exchanged for an S, and it hung really big on me. It was not as flattering and fun as on the model. Maybe it's just my body type that isn't really meant for this coat. It is so cute conceptually though and clearly really warm and high quality, so definitely give it a try if you think it might work for you! I returned the coat, but I wanted to post a warning here that the returns process has been annoying I returned the coat 2 weeks ago with other items from the same seller that have already been refunded and still have not received my refund. Hopefully this is just a fluke, but given how expensive this coat is, it is frustrating to have that money held hostage. Updated 05/30: I have successfully exchanged this coat for the actual coat. The seller also reached out to try to help, but I had already exchanged with 2 day shipping at that point. I like the coat, but it doesn't hang on me like it does on the model. It seems to hug in some places I wish it wouldn't, like my hips, and the arms are pretty tight if I'm wearing anything thicker than a tee shirt. I wasn't sure what size to get based on the size chart, so I went with XS, but I just ordered an S to see if I like that better and then will send one back. It seems very warm and well made though, and I love how deep the pockets are. The hood stays up well, as well. Original review: I received a different black jacket than the one I ordered. The one I got was shorter than the one pictured, did not have the white reflective strips, and did not have the buttons on the side for venting. However, I can tell from the jacket I did receive that the products from this brand are really high quality! There was an inner series of buttons around the chest for a warmer fit there, the jacket was well sewn, the cuffs on the sleeves seemed nice, and the coat was very warm (although it is summer here, so hard to tell how it would hold up in the winter). I will be reordering this coat again, and hopefully I will get the right one the second time! If/when I do, I will update the review.

This coat will be perfect for a cold Canadian winter. It is lightweight and filled with 100% down. It has storm cuffs, great hood and a long length perfect for dog walking. I plan to get another one in a different color….its a long winter

This coat is warm and fits well. 700 down fill power, nice! I'm 5 feet, 9 inches tall and weigh 145 lbs. Measurements 38-28-37. Typical clothing size 8 or medium. Bought the off white coat, size medium. Usually, I buy a large in coats to accommodate bulky sweaters. I didn't need to in this coat. There's plenty of room. The coat reaches to just below my knees. The 2 front pockets are deep and zippered with reflector stripping around it. I do wish it had inside pockets though. Maybe when they update it? Side zippers allow for expansion but I really don't know what this function is for? Too much turkey dinner? Hmmm🤔. These zippers also have a reflector stip around it. Hood is generous. Front zipper is 2 way which is nice for sitting in the car. Overall, it's a keeper.😁

This would be a great coat for something someone living in the snowy windy tundra- thick, long, warm-seeming (I was in an air conditioned house) - but way too bulky for me for a trip to London in Nov. the hat was way huge (I have a pea head). Anyway nice quality coat just not for me
