    • Difficult to play as the rules are written
I was excited to try this game, as I remember it from my childhood. Unfortunately this game plays differently than the original and like another review says, it makes it impossible to finish if you play by the current rules. In this version, you press the alarm clock way more often. Every other space has a token that tells you how many time to press the alarm clock. Also if you roll the clock you have to press the alarm clock. Daddy wakes up as frequently as 4 presses. Maybe if playing with 6 people, a player can make it through without waking him, but it's pretty difficult to do. The original version had cards you have to try to match, and then only if you didn't match you pressed the alarm clock. We play by just doing half of the alarm tokens which makes it a bit better. This is easy to set up, the Daddy character snaps easily into the bed. The dice do need the stickers applied. The board isn't too big. Overall it's fun if you tweak how you play or play with more people. ... show more
