    • Good Machine to Use When You Don’t Want to Hassle with Weights
Plan on updating this review as time goes on. Got it 12/29/2023 Assembly to me was pretty easy and about what I expected from an exercise piece. I was a little confused when the parts and tools package had 4 steps on it, but there are 9 in the booklet. That is because most of the parts are already on the machine. I think it took less than hour and much of that is because my hands are not great with small objects. Did my first workout and went straight to 4 bands. This is definitely is part cardio machine because it is high volume when you start to feel it. According to the counter I did 200 reps in ten minutes, and I was feeling it. I also need to work on my form and movement on the machine. I enjoyed the workout though, and think it will be a good exercise to do while listening to music or a podcast. For muscle building I think this machine is more a complementary piece of equipment. I think it is also good for days when you don’t want to deal with free weights. Another reason I got this machine was because squatting is my least favorite exercise, but also know it is one of the best and foundational for strength building. I don’t have the best of balance and always feel like I am going to crush myself doing squats in the power rack. Always feel like my knees are gonna buckle or something. So I am hoping this machine help fills that gap. I was between this model and the one with the hydraulic cylinder. Saw a few too many reviews saying the cylinder was a problem so went with this one. Again this will definitely work your legs, but for me the volume will need to be higher. I don’t consider in a great shape, but I am 6’0 200 pounds and work a decently physical job on a daily basis (picking up metal frames between 5 and 23 pounds 450 times a day). That being said I think unit would be perfect if there were more resistance bands. Overall the unit is good and the construction feels solid.     • A modern day Health Rider!
Do you remember the rowing device they sold on late night TV in the 90s? It was called the Health Rider and it was one of the most useful pieces of exercise equipment I’ve ever purchased. It was so useful, that when I moved out, my former roommate asked to keep it. Here we are years later, and I decide to get myself another one. Sadly it doesn’t seem like they make them anymore, so I started looking for a similar device. This device does the trick! It’s angles is a bit higher and has a different mechanism to increase difficulty, but it’s definitely the cousin of the Health Rider. A really good way to tone up your muscles, especially if you’ve not exercised in a while. ... show more

This is a sturdy, easy-to-build machine with all the tools and diagrams you'll need to fix anything down the road. The workout shocked me; the squats I wanted to target most were sublime. I can't walk right now. Exactly what I wanted. But I can also barely type this review because my arms are so sore! I thought it was too late for a hot-girl summer, but I think I'm back on track with this thing. And it doesn't take up a ton of room or fold up super-bulky. In love! ... show more

This will kick your butt in a good way. I’m 66 years old & not overweight & I’m truly enjoying it. BUT there’s no way I can attach the resistant cords just yet. Soon tho. Three things to keep in mind. 1. U really need to have two good knees for this otherwise it could be difficult IMO. 2. To put it together correctly when it arrives… go to their YouTube channel. That makes it a breeze. Maybe takes an hour at most if u go slowly. 3. It will take some time and fiddling around to get the seat & handlebar adjustments that work best 4U… and make sure the cushioned bar UNDERNEATH the seat is moved to the max setting bcuz if the seat isn’t level u can put too much strain on your knees and it’s awkward to ride otherwise IMO. This is going to get daily use. No clothes hanger in site. Lol Bonus… it folds & moves easily & I'm not very strong. This company has thought of everything. A super good value too. ... show more
