This is a nice spring coat. It looks more expensive than it is. The fabric is nice and is well made with a lining that you see in higher end coats. I have several Orolay jackets and I have been please with all of them due to their fit, construction, fabrics and washability, and this trench is another big hit for me! I am 66 yrs, 5'4" 170lbs. A short and tubby senior. I bought a size large. I really like this trench style on me because it's slimming and classic. The coat is a med weight, not heavy or bulky but not thin like a wind breaker. The Large fits me perfectly, no need to roll up the sleeves, and hitting me just above the knee as shown on the model. I am able to wear layers under this trench and it and still fits comfortably. The color is true navy which goes with everything, and the coat is wrinkle free! This style is very versatile, can be worn with both casual or dressier attire. I had to attend a funeral and didn't want to buy a dressy outfit that I would wear only once, so I wore this coat over a pair of slacks, with a turtleneck, heels and scarf, I never took my coat off, I felt the look was appropriate for this occasion. I do highly recommend, I'm certain that am going to enjoy this coat for a long time to come. ... show more

Very nice coat. Nice fabric, fully lined. The medium was too tight across the bust. The large fits except the sleeves are too long, I am having it altered, then it will be a 5 star.

This is the perfect single-breasted trench. First, the fit: this is straight cut and slimming. It lays perfectly at the shoulders and drapes perfectly for a crisp look. It is also easy to move in. It runs TRUE to size. I am 5’4, 117lbs and got a size S. Second, the material: the fabric is similar/identical to coats costing much more. I have a traditional trench from a higher-end brand. This fabric is identical. Third, the quality: tightly stitched seams. No stray threads. Buttons secure. Last, the style: the straight cut and single-breasted design makes the coat super versatile. Depending on which color you get, this works for casual, business wear, evening out. It isn’t fussy or fancy; it is just effortless. I got two colors: khaki and green. Both are pretty close to the listing photos. The khaki maybe be a bit warmer in person; the green seems just a bit cooler and muted. This coat has price drops sometimes. I paid $104 for one and checked back for another color—and it was $79. $104 is a great price. $79 is a STEAL. I love everything about this coat. ... show more

I love it! It fit well. I am 4 foot 11. I did have a coat altered for a more petite fit. A couple inches off the bottom and a little off the cuffs. I was happy to find a nice chocolate Brown Basic trench that had such clean lines. It’s very basic very Apple body friendly. It’s a great fall coat. I’m not sure about a winter coat because it doesn’t have a substantial lining for winter. I live in California, so this coat is probably gonna be great for me and fall and winter. Of course I would rather Amazon sold petite items, but I am still very happy with my purchase and I think it’ll be a nice Basic for years to come. ... show more

Nice fabric, good drape, well made. The weight is exactly right, enough to block cold wind, but not too heavy, so an all seasons coat. On the black coat the beige color buttons look a little cheap but I can swap them out. Sizing is the problem. I bought the size that matched my measurements. It is 1-2 sizes too small. So either the size quality control is bad, or the measurement details are way off. ... show more
