I have several Orolay jackets and I have been please with all of them due to their fit, construction, fabrics and washability, and this trench is another big hit for me! I am 66 yrs, 5'4" 170lbs. A short and tubby senior. I bought a size large. I really like this trench style on me because it's slimming and classic. The coat is a med weight, not heavy or bulky but not thin like a wind breaker. The Large fits me perfectly, no need to roll up the sleeves, and hitting me just above the knee as shown on the model. I am able to wear layers under this trench and it and still fits comfortably. The color is true navy which goes with everything, and the coat is wrinkle free! This style is very versatile, can be worn with both casual or dressier attire. I had to attend a funeral and didn't want to buy a dressy outfit that I would wear only once, so I wore this coat over a pair of slacks, with a turtleneck, heels and scarf, I never took my coat off, I felt the look was appropriate for this occasion. Got this coat based on that darn AI reading my mind on Facebook and with an upcoming trip to Portugal it was time for a new coat suitable for Spring weather and water resistant. I love the styling, length, comfortable fit and color. It looks to be higher end tailored without the high coat. I'm officially petite at 5'5"-5'4" which was apparent in the sleeve length. They were covering the top of my palms so I did a DIY sleeve shortening and it's much better now. I took it up 1.25" and there is still room before the strap. Will do a delicate cycle and hang dry before the trip. So, note this for yourself otherwise it's a great coat and I'm looking forward to wearing it! ... show more

This is a nice spring coat. It looks more expensive than it is. The fabric is nice and is well made with a lining that you see in higher end coats. Large tortoise shell style buttons, Simple clean lines and Drapes really well. Fit is true to size. 5’-4”, 170 lbs. Size large. The only drawback is the sleeves are a bit long for me, BUT that may just be my arms as I have that issue with most tops that I buy. ... show more

    • Nice Lightweight Trenchcoat
When I unwrapped this jacket, my first thought was to return it. It was a wrinkled mess. That said, I put it on a hanger and let the wrinkles fall out on their own. I tried it on a few times, with and without layers underneath. The more I did that, I grew to love the tidiness of the design—front and back. It has a very nice weight and the material quality holds up in a light drizzle. Easy to button and the buttons aren’t coming loose at the drop of a hat. It’s a lightweight trench coat so I didn’t buy it for snowy weather. The black color is practical and the length hits me below the knees (5’4”). Easy to get in and out of the car. I thought I might miss having a zipper but I don’t. I’m glad I kept it! Am impressed with Orolay. I bought one of their puffy jackets too. ... show more

Nicer quality cut and fabric, a bit heavier than expected, fits well in the shoulders for a slim look but roomy enough around the middle to wear a heavy sweater underneath, overall very good fit, true to size. The sleeves are long on my 5' 1" frame but I turned them under and hand stitched to a better length for me. Petite sizing would have been helpful. ... show more
