    • Seems to be a decent kit overall. Time will tell.
Aside from the pitman arm puller, you can generally separate tie rods and ball joints without a special tool but for less than $40 I think it's worth a shot and worth having in case you may need it. They come in a nice case and appear to be made fairly well but ultimately with these things, you don't often know how well until you use them on a joint that is heavily seized and at that point they'll either work or break. Based on the style of separator/puller I would say these are probably suited more so for light duty modern cars and/or imports. For example, the pitman arm puller is fairly small so I'm not convinced it's going to work on that 30 year old domestic car/truck to pull that rusted pitman arm off of the old Saginaw 525 steering box. (Again, for less than $40 it's worth having because while it may not work for one application, it might work for another.) ... show more

This tool kit is awesome, Well constructed and durable. I love the blo-molded case as it is durable (one of the things I always look for on the case is the latches, this case has nice latches which should last many years of use). The well written instructions and how to properly care for your tool was well written. Love the fact they stressed greasing up the tool which is necessary. Took the tie rod end off with ease. There was a small disappointment and that was no where did I find wether this tool was impact rated or not. If it's not, it should be or if it is, be proud to put that in the directions or somewhere. This is overall a good tool set and I would recommend it to any DIY or even a budding tech to include in thier tool arsenal. ... show more

I have a couple of the tools by other more expensive manufacturers and these work better then those and fit applications the others don't. great set that handles the most common applications, being cased is great also

    • Great front end service kit
I have several other OMT tools and they have served me well. It was time to do front suspension in my Ram 2500. I replaced the tie rods and pitman arm using this set and it worked exceptionally well without marring the threads so I will have this kit for years to come

The media could not be loaded. This is an excellent combination of tools for working on ball joints, it comes nicely packaged in a case also they all seem durable plus the price is marked perfect.
