  • Arrived packed well, and in good condition.
Style: Intermediate
I hope to not use this tool. However, I do own a 2500 Ram with +100k on the odo. The vehicle has 10 u-joints with 40 bearings. Time will tell if this tool is worth the investment. 11/6/22 It didn't take long for the first u-joint to go bad. It was one of the worst, RH front knuckle. The tool would not move the u-joint without the addition of heat. The tool did work well to center the new u-joint after clip installation. It's a good tool, but you still have to use your mechanics cap. ... show more

  • Works well and easily with impact driver to remove stubborn universal joints.
Style: Large
Worked well with Milwaukee impact driver to remove rear driveshaft effortlessly from M1078 Stewart and Stevenson ex-military truck. Super easy to use. Fit perfectly. Pre-lubricated so screw doesn’t bind or spall.

Excellent tool. Wish I had gotten this years ago. Very easy to use.

  • Green junk
Style: Large
I have used my same tiger tool u joint puller for nearly a decade with ZERO issue. The only selling factor this u joint puller had for me was it was high vis green. Thought it could make night calls easier. BROKE first use. Called the manufacturer was on hold for 45 minutes before giving up. Emailed manufacturer several times with no response. If you’re looking for a reliable tool spend the extra $$$, go with the tiger tool. ... show more

  • Like all tools it has its limits.
Style: Small
Like all tools they have there limits. I bought this to remove a 27 year old u-joint from under a truck due to not being able to remove the axle. It did the job and being able to remove this one u-joint was worth the price alone. I also removed the other u-joint from the axle that was off the truck. On the final and third u-joint the legs started to bend and stayed bent. I don't blame the tool due to the cap of the u-joint being stuck in the yoke so bad that it needed a torch to get it out. I would definitely by it again but if you use it keep a eye on it while using a torque wrench with it so you can stop it before damaging it. ... show more

  • Worked great even on something it was not designed for 👍
Style: Large
Tough tool for the price. I was impressed with how well it held up as I used it for something it was not intended for lol. As a heavy diesel mechanic I've ruined many different brands of these and I believe this one will last me awhile. I was able to put a 2.5 foot bar and socket on it and cranked down till it it held my 170 lbs of the ground while bouncing, never stretched the threads. I do use lubricant on the threads as well. Had to use it several times for this job and no issues. DO NOT USE A IMPACT GUN OF ANY KIND WITH THESE. ... show more

  • Top notch quality
Style: Small
Really excellent product. Well made. I only returned it because I couldn't get the bolts loose on my u-joints due to Wisconsin rust. Don't own a torch so I had to farm the job out. Didn't want to break one and have to tow the truck.

  • Its ok
Style: Large
Worked about 10 times then snapped the bolt. It happens and that doesn't bother me. But the part that does bother me is I cannot find a replacement bolt because they made it wierd. And getting ahold of them is impossible. So I am using grade 8 bolts and using it as a back up.
