I must say this is the 2nd Orion Amplifier I have purchased, The first being an OrionXtr2500.1Dz which was a gift from my wife. I decided for once in my life I wanted an amplifier for my mids & highs that could handle the amount of speakers I usually have installed. I usually have anywhere from 4 pairs to 6 (pairs) of 6.5" and 6x9" speakers. All my amps in the past would have a hard time giving the power needed and I would usually end up with a wiring frenzy to keep the amp at a sustainable impedance. This amp. The Orion HCCA 1500.4 has outdone itself, seriously. I have 10 6.5" speakers in my vehicle along with 6 12" subwoofers. Its hard to keep your vocals loud enough to hear with that many Subs. The Orion HCCA1500.4 has my system sooo loud I've had people run from my vehicle. Hand to god. The amplifier has barely gotten even warm to the touch after playing for hours straight. I went ahead and installed 2 12v fans to help keep my subwoofer amps cool and with those 2 little fans added on the other side of the vehicle from where the Orion is, that amp stays Ice cold all day long. And it can be used for subs as well putting out great clean Rms power across all channels. 4ohm- 4 x 250w Rms, 2ohm- 4 x375w Rms, 4ohm bridged- 2 x 750w Rms. That's 375 watts per channel Rms by 4 channels. Or 750 watts Rms per channel for 2 channels. Awesome amp. Hands down.

This amp has crazy power. I have 4 6.5 running at 250 rms each and I have to keep the amp at 1/4 the power it has and it still seems like too much power for them. Love theses Orion HCCA amps. đź‘Ť

Orion hcca series of car audio equipment is the absolute best quality sound from the best car audio company. Other companies can produce loud sounding equipment and others can produce quality sound, but no company can produce quality sound at a high decibel like Orion. Orion teamed up with a quality company ( Amazon ) to sell and ship their products. My Orion Amplifier arrived a day early. It was supposed to take 2 days but arrived in one. It was in a big Amazon box. Inside was an Orion box and inside that box was another Orion box! Inside that box was thick Styrofoam surrounding the precious cargo. This is a big heavy top quality amp that delivers the best sound. I have a new Lexus with the 1800 watt 17 speaker Mark Levinson system and I have now decided to total replace with Orion hcca products. Lexus needs to partner with the best....Orion HCCA !!!!!

I wish I didn’t need to write this review. I would think twice before dealing with Orion. I received this amp in faulty condition. It still worked but never was very loud. I troubleshooted this issue for over a year, and despite never playing very loud it blew 3 subwoofers. 2 of them Orion hcca’s at low volume. 1 kicker. After more than a year I finally came to the conclusion that something had to be wrong with the amp. Because I replaced every other single component at this point. I emailed Orion about this and they want me to send the amp to them so they can figure it out. Sounds great except they said that I would pay to ship it to them. Not ideal but fine. Then they would figure out the problem and fix it. Then they will hold my amp ransom till I pay them for the repairs and return shipping. An amp that I received faulty from them that I paid $700 for that has blown $1500 in subwoofers. They want me to pay to repair and ship both ways and if I send it and don’t pay for the repair they keep it. After explaining this to them in an email they simply just didn’t reply. I will never buy or deal with this company again and I highly advise everyone to do the same. It’s expensive equipment that they have only shown they don’t stand behind unfortunately.

Truly underrated amplifier. Birth sheet was 3200 at 12v but at 14.9 it's closer to 5k at 1ohm I'm running mine at .6ohms for 2yrs now with no problems and never shut off. I also have a limited lithium battery to help with voltage

I bought this to replace my Taramps Smart 3k. This amplifier is so much more powerful. With 3-0gauge power/ground inputs. I'm running at 3k @ 1 Ohm. It can do twice its power rating at .5 Ohms. Lithium Headway Bank and 300 Amp alternator. This thing uses a lot of power. Can't wait to meter it tomorrow. I was doing a 144.38 on the smart 3k. I will also be adding a second orion hcca 122 soon. I will update.

I am thoroughly impressed and I've been building systems for over 20 years. This thing is s beast! I don't even have my batteries and alternator yet to feed this thing and it is literally beating the daylights out of my 8 L7 15s (that's right, eight of em) in sealed boxes. I can't wait to hear what it can do when properly fed. The onboard tuning circuits are pretty lame, but c'mon, for how cheap this thing is you can buy whatever up line you want and still have less out of pocket than if you bought any other amp capable of what this thing can do. Im going with the Kicker KQ30 just because I love the way their units really boost the sub bass in a track. Lined up with a Epicenter you'll be registering on the Richter scale. I built this system in my 2016 Peterbilt 579 and this amp makes people think the sleeper is going to explode. When I'm on the road I'm slamming for 10 to 12hrs straight with no overheating problems at all. I would recommend this amp to anyone who is considering buying an amp, you will NOT be disappointed, I give you my word on that... do be prepared to spend some money to feed it properly. I am going with a 270amp alternator for $520 and 3 of the Kinetik 3800's for a little over $1,000. If you have any questions give me a call 305 nine zero six 1102, Mark
