The first one I got stopped working very shortly after I got it and I was devastated and left a livid review saying to go with one of the ugly ones. But the seller got in touch in with me and offered to send me a new and improved one for free. So far it's going well and I do love the thing. You can tell it's powerful. You can feel it working and it's such a cool coversation peice to have around. Not embarrassed to show it, not embarrassed to wear it, doesn't feel all in vain after I use it. Overall if it continues to work it's pretty worth it. It does change colors to soon for me towards the end so I like to switch it right back to red for the last ten minutes. Don't worry, if this new and improved one stops working I won't hesitate to update my review with the truth. Trust me, I'd want to know asap myself as an interested buyer so I would update this first thing if it's the last thing I do.

The first unit would not charge, so I could never get it to work. Apparently I got a defective one. The Manufacturer assured me that the quality issue with my unit has been resolved, and sent me a new unit. Because it is so early, I haven't been able to see results yet (but I only used it for the first time last night). But I can tell this is a good quality face mask. The lights are very strong and the face is good fitting so that the light does not go directly into your pupils (although you can see peripheral light). I appreciate the manufacturer standing behind their product.

I bought this mask at the end of November 2023 and it stopped working only 6 months later. The remote is working but the mask no longer turns on. If someone can tell me How to troubleshoot or obtain a replacement I’d really appreciate it. I don’t think 6 months of use maybe twice a month is a fair lifespan.

I've been using it for 20 minutes daily as part of my evening skincare routine and if I'm being honest, I have no idea if it's improving the quality of my skin or not. I get 20 minutes where every one leaves me alone and I can lie still and listen to my audio book and, for me, that's worth it. The headset fits a little funny, but it is adjustable, you just need to find your comfort spot with it. I do find it's more comfortable lying down than sitting up. I like that there's the little eye cups to protect your eyes from the bright light, but I do find myself adjusting it fairly regularly in that 20 minute window when the pressure around my eyes becomes too great to bear.

Update 5/6/24: Echoing another reviewer - absolutely nothing works now. The remote won’t charge and the cable to connect the remote to the mask doesn’t work either. Piece of junk made by terrible manufacturers. DO NOT BUY Battery charging doesn’t seem to exist. Another reviewer noted the same thing but for some reason the remote doesn’t hold a charge at all. I had to keep the USB-C charging cable attached to the remote in order to get the mask to work. Otherwise the mask looks sleek and is at least providing a little warmth and various colored lights. Too soon to tell if the product does anything to the skin, though.

It's fun looking to wear but heavy. The remote changes the output on my TV if I turn it on while playing a game or watching a show, so turn it on before. ;) I do wish it had more breathing areas as your breath will make you hot. We enjoy it overall.

I just received this in the mail on Wednesday. It is currently Saturday. I was only able to use this mask on Thursday and Friday. I thought I was charging the remote yesterday. I was about to use the mask today. Plugged it to the remote and found that the remote only had one bar. One bar after charging? It should have a full charge, right? So, I switched to three different USB-C chargers to no avail. None of them were able to recharge the remote control. Then finally the one bar that the remote held depleted and now the remote no longer works. The mask itself works, but since there is no remote to plug it into, it renders the mask unusable. Why spend so much time making the masks when you add a cheap remote that becomes defective so easily? Now, I have to return this product. It makes me leery to even think about purchasing a different mask, if it uses a remote control to operate and make the mask usable. That was a poor design choice. I am sure the return rates are high. If yours has not become defective yet, it is just a matter of time before the remote goes on the fritz. Hopefully, when it happens, it won’t be after your guarantee runs out.
