Good controller, but I buy them because I own MIN solenoid valves
Size: Bundle Pack
I have bought half a dozen of these, I use them to run drip irrigation systems, they do well, though I have to buy a new one every year, I buy them because I have many of the solenoid valves as a result.

My personal favorite!

Review Image by ~:(I)
I grow a few thousand trees at three different sites. I have used other watering systems (that use batteries) and this one by far is the best. Other brands totally burn through batteries quickly or glitch out fast. This one is easy to set and is reliable. It’s logical how you set the watering times and frequency. I would suggest getting the extended warranty just in case. You never know with electronics that hang out in the elements. As you can see, I have mine mounted on a stake close to the ground. I put a white plastic kitchen trash bag over it to keep it out of the elements. ... show more

Reliable inexpensive way to auto water
Size: Bundle Pack
I installed an identical system in our garden 12 years ago. It still works great but I felt like it might be time to get a backup in place. These timer systems are simple and reliable.

Faulty Product
Size: Bundle Pack
DO NOT BUY! I have used this timer model for 15 years and been satisfied until my most recent purchase last year when I installed a new garden area. I’m used to setting and forgetting—the timer does the watering. Well, the clock on this newer model started losing time and the watering program reset to zero minutes, resulting in dead plants. I reached out to Orbit and they sent a warranty replacement. The new unit did exactly the same thing and they refused to help me since I’d already received a warranty replacement. I’m out $100 and still don’t have a working timer. Clearly they have a problem Never again! ... show more

Mine won’t run all 4 stations at the same time, but...
Size: Bundle Pack
I’ve seen in previous reviews people complaining that all stations were triggering at the same time, which can be a problem if you have low water pressure. However, I have the opposite with my timer. In program mode, it always starts with only station 1 then at the end of the time moves to station 2, then 3, then 4. So that not only solves my water pressure problem but also allows me to set a different time for each zone. It’s all programmed now so I don’t want to experiment further but is it possible that all stations start at once if they’ve been set with identical watering times? ... show more

Works as designed
Size: Bundle Pack
I've followed the instructions and set up 4 zones to run twice a day for 30 minutes. So far everything is working smoothly. Directions were easy to follow and took about 15 minutes.

Easy to set timer/controller
Size: Bundle Pack
Easy to set & dependable timer/controller. I have an earlier version of this timer that is nine years old, that still works, that I use in our backyard. I needed a new timer/controller to replace a very old timer (for our front yard) that is 12+ years I old. I would recommend this timer if you need a multi zone timer that can be connected to a hose valve. ... show more

Great for only 1 season
Size: Bundle Pack
Review Image by Canuto B. Borromeo
This bundle was working great last season. However, it looks like there is a quality issue on the hose attachment part. After only a few weeks into season 2, it sprung a leak and it seems as if the plastic molding has come apart at the seams. Can't glue it, so I'll have to figure something else out.
