It is EXACTLY the same as 8000 (same technology, looks and everything else, except for the number on the box), and does not include the storage rack for the brush heads. Super annoyed! Returning!

I was considering 8000 but went with this one and somehow missed a review. I think it is overpriced for just that usb charging port (that charges your phone only with your wire) added on the travel case that will be used oh well occasionally. I was disappointed that head storage (something to use daily; and I did purchased it separately adding it to already high total) was not included as with this model like it was with 8000. The app is unstable and it doesn’t allow for multiple profiles to be created so the handle cannot actually be shared. Save your money go with genius 8000. The usb port is missing in my price value especially that it takes hours to charge phone anyway! ... show more

I bought this hoping it would work better with their app than my previous Oral-B brush. The good things about this are that the charger stays clean longer and the plastic color ring is replaced with a configurable light ring. The bad thing is that the app works just as horribly than before - including the new position detection feature. To me, this makes the Bluetooth feature & app useless. ... show more

I have had the same Oral B for the last year years(Thank you Lord)! and a few weeks ago upon my return trip from NY I noticed the base was cracked. Since then it's been functioning ok. I decided to buy another toothbrush- Hence the 9600. I was impressed by the cleaning. The handle is not a firm one like my 18 year old one but otherwise cleans just as good. I will use that one for my travels and continue to use my faithful 18 year old Oral B for every day use! Update- tried to change the battery and it was mission impossible. Now I don't have a toothbrush to use and have to pay for the repair of this one! Don't buy it!! ... show more

I love this toothbrush. The color is gorgeous but it works amazing and I enjoy seeing how well or bad a I am brushing with the app. The suction cup for the mirror is awesome. I use it to put my phone in it for brushing my teethe but also to listen to music when I am showering. The case it comes with is off great quality and the case design is beautiful. Better looking in person. The only thing I wish is that there was a brush cap to put over the tooth brush head. My Phillips Sonic care has one and for the price you pay for this toothbrush, it could have came with one. Otherwise, love it! ... show more
