  • Does just what I wanted for a good price...
Size: 1 Count (Pack of 1)
I have been a Oral-B user for many years with very good results. Finally came time to replace my well used and worn out model and after a lot of researching of their current products, I choose this one. Just happens to be one of their lowest cost electric brushes also! I just wanted something to do a good job at cleaning my teeth and did not need or want all the other "fancy bells and whistles" that they try to sell for much higher prices. And for me, all that other "stuff", is just waste of money. Pro's - 1. Does a very good job at cleaning teeth. 2. This model has 3 (three) power levels not just 2 as description says. Maybe newer model and just not updated listing? Three is better than two! 3. This "cheaper" model will take the "older" style of replacement heads. Newer more expensive models take a different style of replacement head that tends to be more expensive. 4. This version of Oral-B electric toothbrush has a "rubberized" coating that makes it much easier to hold on to. Most all other models don't have this type of coating and when it gets wet, becomes very slippery. Con's - 1. I do wish it had a charging indicator light. But, considering that this is a lower priced "base" model, I have nothing to complain about. To me, this is a great electric toothbrush at a very fair price. ***And to those that complain about their toothbrush heads getting really dirty and "gross" inside the brush head. Easy fix! When you are finished brushing, take the brush head off and run water through the bottom. Problem fixed! All nice and clean! Not sure why adults can't figure that out for themselves!? *** ... show more

  • Great Product
Size: 1 Count (Pack of 1)
Quiet, and works very well, my teeth feel so clean and polished when I'm done. Came with several heads.

  • Warranteed for 2 years, free replacement.
Size: 1 Count (Pack of 1)
I have owned about 5 Oral-B electric toothbrushes. I upgraded to the Pro 500 and it died after 6 months. But since they are warranted for 2 years, they are sending me a new one at no charge. Great product and great service.

  • A good basic electric toothbrush, at a good price
Size: 1 Count (Pack of 1)
The Oral-B Pro 500 provides a great value in a basic electric toothbrush. Used correctly it does a great job, is well made, and will give you a few years of twice-daily use. It comes with one basic brush head, but I changed it out with the Oral-B "Floss Action" type brush head which has been my preferred type for years. In addition to the "2 minute timer" feature, this model also gives "30 second" alerts that correspond to the recommended time to spend brushing each quadrant. That's a bit to regimented for me, and I ignore all but the 2 minute alert. You might find the 30-second alerts to be a useful feature, though. I've had similar lower-priced Oral-B electrics before, and my only complaint is that after the first few months of ownership the batteries begin to require more frequent recharging. But these toothbrushes dependably provided 3 years of use, and I haven't seen the need to pay $100 or more for a "better" electric toothbrush. ... show more

  • Better than my last electric toothbrush
Size: 1 Count (Pack of 1)
I was looking for a dual speed toothbrush to be like my old one. This one was the right price and it has three speeds instead of two. I like it. A while back I bought a large quantity of brushes and was reluctant to buy a new brush and didn't know if the brushes would fit. It turns out that all the brushes do work and I have a great supply of them. This is a great product at a very reaosnable price. ... show more

  • Cleans so well.
Size: 1 Count (Pack of 1)
Read a review that recommended this version of this toothbrush because it had a non slip body. Glad I read that review. I was looking at the more expensive one that didn’t have this. I chose the oral b because of the small brush head that seemed like it would be easier to maneuver around my mouth. I have to say it is perfect. The charge lasts a long time. I lose track and I know it’s two weeks or more between charges. It cleans way better than my old manual brush. I really wish I had gotten this sooner. It’s quiet and works well and is comfortable to use. ... show more

  • Happy Purchase
Size: 1 Count (Pack of 1)
Wow! Talk about feeling clean after brushing your teeth! I love that feeling! I had been using another popular name-brand electric toothbrush. After five years, the battery was finally dying on that brush and I looked for an alternative. The commercials made the Oral-B very desirable. LoL I have to admit, I was a bit skeptical after reading some reviews but I understand people all experience things differently, and it seemed to have positive reviews in the majority so I decided to give it a go. Well, my first word says it all. But I can understand some of the negative comments. I think I can clear up some of them. Yes, you do have to push the power button three times to turn it off because the button is how you select the level of power you want to use for cleaning your teeth. The noise level is ridiculously loud! But I remember when I first started using an electric toothbrush, I thought it was ridiculously loud. LoL So I think it's a matter of getting used to it. The only two negative things I have to say about it. First I hope I do not suffer from Adult Shaken Syndrome. LoL Second, yeah, there does not seem to be a light to indicate the power left on the battery. But there's a little doodad under the brush head and I wonder if that is some kind of level indicator. I plan to keep an eye on it and will come back and update if it is! Oh, and the most confusing part, for me anyway, is that all that I have read on Amazon under product description, is that there is Daily Clean and Sensitive levels. That's two. Pushing the power button gives three very distinctive levels of power. So there's that. But I do not think it is enough to lower the quality of the product. Just a bit of nonsense that does not make any sense. :D ... show more

  • A basic, affordable, no-frills electric toothbrush with a few compromises
Size: 1 Count (Pack of 1)
A simple, stripped-down, mostly-painless entry into the world of electric toothbrushes. Downsides: 1. The unit lacks a charging light. When you rest the brush on the charger, there's no way to know whether it's actually charging without employing a clumsy workaround (pushing the "on" button. If the unit won't turn on while mounted on the charging stand, then apparently it's charging. There's also no way to know when it's fully charged). 2. The brush has multiple speeds and modes, but you have to cycle through ALL of them to turn it off. Not ideal. 3. The included brush-head is tiny, and won't cover much dental territory. You have to brush for a relatively long duration to fully clean your teeth. 4. Changing heads is easy, but unappealing (there's a thin metal stick under the head, and you have to jam the new head down on that flimsy metal spike). Bottom line: this brush is...fine. You get what you pay for. ... show more
