I purchased this e bike for trucking around my kid. I bought it on sale for $499. For the price point you get a pretty decent starter e-bike. Pros: Solid frame, not the prettiest welds but regardless it feels like it will hold up for years to come. The rack system, while bulky, is definitely sturdy and nice. Nice system to run cables through the frame. Fairly easy to work on if you have some experience. I like the ability to just throttle out when you don’t feel like pedaling. Went together in just a couple of hours out of the box. Has enough battery for a 10 mile throttled out ride with a a load of around 220lbs with some charge leftover. Comfy seat and step thru design that my wife enjoys. The cons: While it went together quickly out of the box it did need some adjustments to the wheel and brakes. I did have to true both the front and back wheels. Spoke tension on some of them were laughable, probably a QC issue. I wish there was a higher amp hour option for the battery. The handlebar is definitely too narrow, I swapped it out with a spare pretty easily though. The mechanical disc brakes do not have a ton of stopping power. I actually swapped those out with a pair of hydraulic zoom 4 pistons because they were so underpowered. I’m 5’8 and someone taller might be a little uncomfortable on it. I wish the seat had a quick release adjuster instead of needing an Allen wrench to losses and tighten it. Might swap the collar out eventually. Pedal assist is a little jerky, kind of to be expected with a cadence sensor though. But you get what you pay for. The three level pedal assist is kinda weird, I wish there were more levels too it. Low doesn’t do too much. Medium isn’t to far off from low and with the high setting you might as well be throttling it the entire time. Overall, with the modifications to the handlebars and brakes I’m pretty happy with it. ... show more

I'm not big on writing reviews, but this company deserves to be recognized :) Fed-Ex damaged my bike. Oraimo fixed it. Plain and simple. Thank you Oraimo! After an accident I've had several spine surgeries and had to stop riding. Now I can go out again thanks to Oraimo. I've wanted an e-bike for a while, but I simply could not afford one I liked. In truth, I really like the Trcker 100, but the price is outside my budget and at 80+ pounds, with my back, it simply wasn't prudent. However, with their Prime Day offer on the Sciiti 100, I pulled the trigger. Bottom Line: I am really glad I bought this bike and would recommend it to anyone who wants a decent, inexpensive way to get out and about. Wear a helmet :) The Good: It was easy to put together and there is a video to help you along. The bike rides well, easily tops 20mph (full battery+flat road=21.7mph; I'm 205lbs), feels strong/well built, plenty of room for accessories such as baskets/saddlebags/lights/water bottle/etc. Most accessories/replacement parts are, like the bike, well priced and shipping was expedient. The battery charges fast and holds its charge well. I plugged in the battery pack while assembling the bike. It was plug in, build, adjust, pump up tires and I was able to go for a ride. Adjusting the seat/handlebars/etc. was straight forward and easy. In my condition I will not be travelling long distances, but my feeling is, with a bag/basket to carry the charger, you could go some time/distance before having to stop. I let the bike do the work while I spin the "no resist" peddles. Yes, I can engage the peddles and in my condition the idea is build up my participation, lol. Also, with the step through design my posture is straighter than with, say, a mountain or road bike. This was key for me. The Bad: WITH MY BACK at 53lbs+acc weight I cannot bus/car-rack the bike by myself; also, I had to use a dolly to bring the box in and then needed help unboxing the bike. People with back/health issues be warned. That said... the weight does not present while riding - you don't notice it at all. The charger, like the battery pack, is "chunky". Although most accessories are reasonably priced, the battery pack, ($249 att), seems a bit steep vs the cost of the bike. Speaking of the battery pack, you have to jiggle the handle to engage the lock. In truth, up to now I've been "nit-picking", but this one - the kick-stand - is for real. It stands the bike so bloody straight that a modest wind will blow it over. I watched this happen. If the ground is the least bit uneven you must adjust the bike accordingly or it will not stand. There does not seem to be a way to adjust the kickstand and it makes me jealous of the kickstand on the Trcker :) Honestly, if it weren't for their outstanding service, I might have gone 4 stars because of this. The Ugly: This really has nothing to do with Oraimo or the Sciiti 100. I wanted to "fine tune" the bike. I contacted the local bike shop and was floored by the setup fee because, "it was an e-bike I didn't buy there". Note: their least expensive e-bike was 3x my Sciiti. ... show more

This bike was the first of two I ordered. Bike was well packaged and protected for shipment. Bike looks great, rides great and feels very sturdy. Power and throttle are good. I have a few complaints about this model but nothing I wasn't able to remedy myself, other then the kickstand. The kickstand is a little too long which makes the bike stand a little too upright when using the kickstand. A little shorter kickstand would allow the bike to lean a little more. Another one is the handlebars are just too narrow, I feel they should be a little wider, or your hands should be angled outwards more instead of almost straight back at you while holding the bar. It would be nice to have more info available on the control panel, such as a speedometer and trip meter. I installed a bicycle computer myself to have all these capabilities and more. The battery rattled and made noises when riding, and I could not not lock the battery on the bike without jiggling it around, the locking pin on the battery would not go through the bracket. I adjusted the height of the bracket the battery slides onto, and also added a few washers behind it so it would take up the gap between it and the battery. That stopped the battery from rattling and making noise, and the height adjustment on the battery bracket allows the lock to work perfectly every time now. The seat is nice and cushy. I'm glad this bike has a 1/2 grip twist throttle on the right hand side, easier to adapt to if you've ever ridden motorcycles. It just seems that how it should be. Pedal assist works good, level 1 is about 8 MPH, level 2 is about 11 MPH, but level 3 is too fast to keep up pedaling. I've gotten many compliments that it's a nice looking bike when I go out riding.
