I've used OPPO hi-fi gear since the company started. This unit is great because I live in an apartment and use headphones (of course, I use Oppo PM-1 Planar Magnetic headphones), so the headphone jack is a real plus (no jack on my Oppo BDP-95 that I use for my main hi-fi system with surround sound speakers). This unit, with the Oppo headphones and a computer monitor, I have a complete super-hi quality stereo-video system in my office that doesn't bother anyone late at night when I use it. With the best DA chips available, there is no way you can improve on the sound quality even if you spend 10 times as much on the expensive stuff. In addition, all of the other components (power supply, etc.) are top notch. Spending any more money on a multi-disc player than the OPPO UDP-205 is necessarily a waste of money unless you want an expensive hi-end brand name in your system (even the build quality would be no better). ... show more

Seller over charging. Unit discontinued 2 yrs ago. I bought 1 right before they closed up! As for the comment it can't play bdlxl 100 disks. It was discontinued already. The player itself can't support them. Outstanding machine otherwise! Get one from a reputable person. 4 stars only because of the price this guy is trying to get! ... show more
