This is an amazing wheelchair at this price! It is easy to set up and use. It moves smoothly and quietly and is overall very comfortable. It folds up with a simple motion to load in the car. What I also like is that it does not have two protruding handles at the back that hooks everything when you turn around in a confined space. It is also very easy to connect the charger to the chair. I highly recommend this chair!

We received it a couple of weeks ago for my mom who has Parkinsons. She loves it so far. She says it’s very sturdy and she’s able to use it as a walker and as a chair. It’s pretty heavy duty so it doesn’t tilt easily. She was also able to get used to the joystick pretty quickly but she is still trying to remember to let go in order to stop.

Electric wheelchair arrived with a broken wheel most likely broken by shipping company. This gave me an opportunity to see how the front wheel was attached to the chair. A spindle/axle arrangement was not used but a web/non bearing configuration which indicated a weak area subjected to failure. Save your money On this one. Not recommended!

First, the good: Very light! Very portable! I just received the wheelchair yesterday and am writing to let folks know that this chair is worth the discounted price of just over $500. Came nearly fully assembled (had to choose what arm to mount the control to and pull out the anti-tip wheels). I just slid it out of the box and unfolded. Within the large box was a smaller box containing the charger and the battery with a small tool bag and the warranty card and some simple instructions. The instructions come with a QR code to activate the one year warranty and promises a "free gift" upon activation. The battery charged completely (indicated when the charger light changed from red to green) within three hours. The battery may be charged directly or in the chair through a charge port under the joystick in the control. If the battery is removed you can slide it back in under the chair pad from the front facing of the chair with a simple locking mechanism one-handed. The chair may be folding by pressing the lock/unlock mechanism near the base of the back of the chair and folds with ease with or without the battery in place. The chair unfolds just as quickly but you must make sure the chair snaps into the lock position before attempting to use it. Next, the bad (or more politely, room for improvement) The chairs wheels don't seem to have much grip. They are hard molded plastic and have very little apparent grip. I attempted to do low speed turns on my low pile carpet and it beeped in protest as the wheels spun without moving me. I resolved this by slowly increasing the speed until it did move. The beeping from the controller is loud and does not appear to have a way to control the volume or mute it. The joystick and motor seemed to lose communication as I was attempting to get traction. The joystick was in the center position as the chair surged and jerked to the last direction I moved the joystick to. This stopped after I moved the joystick in the opposite direction and the wheels stopped spinning. I have concerns about long-term use and maneuverability in carpeted areas. the chair instructions state the chair is not to be used over any grass, gravel, dirt, or uneven paved areas and may not be appropriate or able to handle uneven sidewalks, parking lots, or campgrounds.
