Additional reviews did mention that the machine is loud however I also found that to be untrue, it’s super quiet. I would give this zero stars if I could - and I literally tried. This was incredibly frustrating to use and not worth the effort. It’s hard to program, and the dish capacity is very small, so it’s constantly empty. You end up having to manually unlock it and press the feed button just to get it to refill—which defeats the whole purpose. Even then, it only allows a maximum of six refills a day. Overall, it’s inconvenient, poorly designed, and not reliable. I ended up returning it and would not recommend it.

The photo says a lot. My kitty woke from his morning nap and came over to check this out within 2 minutes of my setting it down. He started drinking immediately, choosing this one over his old fountain. Over more than 20 years and many cats, I've tried countless fountains. Recently it occurred to me that recycled/filtered water might not be the best, especially for this kitty who gets recurring nasal/respiratory infections. Also, the filters for fountains are very costly. It's more or less of a hassle to clean fountains and change filters, depending on the design. Fresh water and no filters should go a long way toward being more sanitary and appealing. They could maybe do better on programming instructions. They have what looks like a good video on youtube. The packaging of the devise was genius level and probably represents their fine design skills. Initially I thought i was missing parts, but they were ingeniously nested within the biggest piece. Already my kitty has commented on his preference for clean vs. recycled/filtered water. Update: One month in I had trouble with the water tray emptying, but not refilling. I contacted customer assistance directly at Oneisall. I got perfect help within 24 hours, including a little video which showed me the solution to a mistake I was making in reassembly. Couldn't be happier with this product and company and my cat seems to really like it.

There are only six set feeding times, which makes it refill automatically every 4 hours. Apparently, that is not enough for my cats. The bowl is too small to hold enough water for them for four hours. And my cat can easily move the bowl, completely separating the two compartments. If it was harder for her to separate, then it'd be even better. I do like it, however, but I think i'll just use it as an extra water source for my cats.

I'm still on the quest to find the perfect cat fountain. This one solved some problems and introduced new ones, which puts it squarely in the middle of the pack. The good news: the deeper bowl actually fixed the slime issue that plagued the last fountain I tried. Whether it's the depth reducing saliva contact or something else, I don't know, but the bowl stayed cleaner longer and that's a win. It's also easy to clean, good looking, and quiet enough to forget it's running. The bad news starts with the clean water tank, which is opaque black. You cannot see the water level. I obviously knew that going in, but there's also no alert when it runs dry — a design oversight that matters more than it sounds, because my cat's response to an empty bowl is to disassemble the fountain in protest. I came home to scattered parts more than once. The bowl capacity also felt undersized for the refill intervals. With 6 times settings, the shortest interval you can have is 4 hours, and even at the highest flow setting, it'd still run out before the next scheduled fill. The programming is its own adventure — the interface only supports military time, and setting intervals is a chore. Good thing you only have to do it once. The quest continues.

Still getting my cats used to it, but I’m really happy with this one. I bought the motion-activated fountain from the same brand before, and in that previous version the water spoiled quickly. This one is great! Super quiet, good quality, and easy to assemble. My cats still aren’t used to it, but every time it pours the water they come running at 200mph just to watch the bowl flip, so it doubles as a toy for them.

Bought this fountain for my cat. Less than one month in use and it does not work properly anymore. When the water dish is emptied, it does not go back down and the water replacement just pours into the waste tank. Super inconvenient as it feeds 6 times in a 24 hour period and when this happens and I am not home, I have to have a replacement water source for my cat so that she does not go without water until I return home. Would not recommend for purchase and would not buy again. For the price you pay, you should have a functioning cat water system.

Doesn't put out enough water for 2 pets. It's a pain to use. I like the looks of it. If it had a sensor to put out water when pets came close it would be great. I love the idea of the fresh water but there isn't enough access to it.
