    • Very nice set for everyday use
Color: Oatmeal Style: 18-Piece Dinnerware Set
A very nice set of service for six for everyday use. I appreciate the fact that it serves 6, so that I didn't have to buy two sets of service for 4. This set is unusual in a couple of other ways: (1) there are no cups or saucers included -- which I didn't want anyway -- and (2) the small plate is a darker shade of oatmeal (beige) than the large plate and bowl, although all of the colors are compatible. Oneida is a quality name in tableware, which now includes plates as well as silverware. ... show more

Beautiful dishes- love the color and the unique shades and glazing. They were packaged exceptionally well and not one dish was cracked or chipped when they arrived. Very happy!

    • Pros and cons
Color: Blue Style: 18-Piece Dinnerware Set
I'm torn between 3 and 4 stars. The color variation is cool. Some are a little " deformed" but I have had stoneware before and it always happens that way so I don't mind. They have washed well in the dishwasher and do well in the microwave. They are heavy, as stoneware is. My only complaint is that i had to order three sets in order to get an entire 12 piece set that wasn't broken and or too flawed. ... show more

This is a beautiful set to add as every day dinnerware or special occasions only. The set includes 6 each of large plates, smaller plates and bowls. The color is as shown and attractive. Mine are a lovely blue color with a gold trim accent. Kind of a rustic appearance. Although, my pics make them look different shades, they are not. This set is made of solid stoneware which does make them heavy. I'm use to Corelle so these are quite different. May not work well with small children. The finish is durable, glossy and helps prevent the surface from scratches. These can be microwaved and are dishwasher safe. One point I will stress is to handle and stack gently as they can be chipped. Overall, this brand is known for their kitchen ware and these do not disappoint, and price is on point. ... show more

    • Stunning, Durable and Perfectly Imperfect Stunning, Durable and Perfectly Imperfect
Color: Oatmeal Style: 18-Piece Dinnerware Set
Review Image by BlueYeti
I couldn’t be happier with this Oneida Organic Shades set. If you are looking for dinnerware that feels artisanal and high-end without the boutique price tag, this is it. It immediately reminded me of country stoneware. Design & Color: The "Oatmeal" color is the perfect warm neutral. It has a beautiful speckled finish and a soft, matte-like glaze that looks incredible under dining room lights. What I love most is the "organic" shape—the edges aren’t perfectly circular, which gives them a handcrafted, earthy feel. They look like something you’d find at a high-end pottery studio. Durability & Function: Despite the delicate look, these pieces have a nice weight to them and feel very sturdy. I’ve been using them daily for a few weeks now, and they hold up great in the dishwasher and microwave. I haven't noticed any scratch marks from silverware yet, which is usually my biggest concern with stoneware. The Set Layout: The 18-piece set is perfect for a service of six. The bowls are a great size—deep enough for a hearty soup or a large salad—and the plates have a slight lip that prevents sauces from sliding off. ... show more
