3M Perfect-It EX Machine Polish is the highest-performing machine polish 3M has ever introduced for removing compound swirl marks in collision repair. It stays wet longer, letting you use less polish for the same refined finish. Yet it also holds better on the pad for reduced sling and easier cleanup. You get smooth, polished surfaces without compound swirl marks – faster, and at less cost. More Wet Time, Less Sling - You never thought one machine polish could deliver both of these important advantages — until now. Our 3M Perfect-It EX Machine Polish stays wet longer on the substrate, meaning you don't need to keep reapplying it and using valuable material during the process of compound swirl removal and polishing. This can be especially important in places where heat and humidity are common inside or outside of the shop. Yet the polish also holds better on the pad, reducing the mess, waste and cleanup time associated with sling. Quite simply, our Perfect-It EX Machine Polish is our highest-performing machine polish for better material cost efficiency, lower process times and refined, swirl-free finishes after compounding. An Excellent Finish, Fast - At the heart of this specially formulated polish is aluminum oxide, the same mineral abrasive used in many of our top-performing abrasive discs and sheets. In fact, fine grade aluminum oxide discs are part of the Scratch Refinement stage of our Perfect-It Paint Finishing System, which includes our EX Machine Polishes. This abrasive cuts quickly and uniformly in a very fine grade to remove swirl marks and tiny sand scratches. For the best compound swirl-free finish on all colors, we recommend using Perfect-It EX Machine Polish with black Perfect-It Quick Connect Foam Polishing Pads PN05707 or PN33285.
