I have started perimenopause. I refuse to get on any hormone therapy, after watching my grandmother and several aunts live to regret it. I tried several other supplements and had mixed results. One of them worked great initially, then it seems they changed the formula, or I became resistant. The hot flashes were coming with a vengeance. It was like I didn't take anything at all. I tried a different brand after that, and the smell was so bad that I could not continue to take those. I tried different varieties of another brand, and they did absolutely nothing. As a last resort, I decided to try these, but I didn't have much hope in them. After about a week, I realized that they were definitely working. I went from having 10+ flashes a day, especially in the evening, to only one or two. That is a great improvement! I will stick with this brand for as long as it is working. ... show more

I recently purchased the One A Day Women's Menopause Multivitamin, hoping to find a good alternative to Estroven Weight Management, which I’ve been using. However, I think I may have jumped the gun on this purchase. After taking one tablet, I started feeling queasy about two hours later. I can’t say for sure if it’s because of the formula being too strong for my system or if my body just isn’t used to it yet. While I appreciate the comprehensive list of ingredients like Vitamin A, C, D, E, and Zinc for immune support, it seems this product might not be the right fit for everyone, especially if you're new to menopause supplements. I’d recommend trying it cautiously and possibly consulting with a healthcare provider first, especially if you're switching from another product like I was.
