This tool was even better than I expected. I recommend this tool 100% over any other cheap valve spring compressor, especially the ones that clamp to the spring itself. There is no binding at all if you grease the threads and connector piece, as well as add a tiny bit of oil on top of the spring hat. I had full confidence in this tool the entire time I used it. Was able to remove, lap, and reinstall 8 valves in 3 hours and I was taking my time. Also unlike the other one you'll find on Amazon, with the round body, this one felt sturdy and did not bend. Get this model!

Seems used as the case has some wear marks and even a small oil stain on the OMT sticker but contains small enough pushers for the small 1.4 L EcoTec motor I am working on.

Easy to set up and use, had to preform a valve job on a friend's scooter.

Works great on a yz250f head. Used heat shink on the handle to prevent it from falling out as seen in the picture because it doesn’t lock in. Also wished it had a flat piece that goes against the valve face, I just used a piece of rag between the adapter and the valve.

The unit worked great for compressing the valve springs in my Audi 2.0 TFSI B8 engine. More than sturdy enough for that. I would not try it on a bigger race engine with 500 lb springs but more than capable for any 4 cylinder engine out there. Only reason it didnt get the full 5 stars is the spinner handle keeps falling out of the threaded rod while you are using it. Overall.....excellent for the money.
