I sometimes use my iPad for sketching. In the past I have used a finger for drawing, but this requires zooming to get any precision. So I thought I'd try a stylus. This first thing that is mentioned about this stylus is the fidget spinner. While this might be a feature that is missing from the Apple pencil, it is a bit of a gimmick. I found that it got boring very quickly. There is none of the visual and tactile feedback you get from other fidget toys. It just rotates. With that out of the way, what does this actually do? Well, it is a comfortable-to-hold stylus that does tilt sensitivity and palm rejection. You can draw with it just like the basic Apple pencil. Just like the basic Apple pencil it charges through USB-C. Obviously it does not try to compete with the pencil Pro. However, there is one big annoyance compared with the Apple pencil: storage. It does not clip magnetically to the side of the iPad, and no iPad case is designed to accommodate a stylus this fat. If you can put up with the storage issue this is a nice budget stylus which is pleasant to write and draw with. I have given it 4 stars because I found the storage issue to be a significant problem with an otherwise great stylus.

This is the first pencil-style stylus I've used with an iPad, and it feels very natural to use. Sketching, writing, etc. all work well on my 9th gen iPad. The pencil shape is easy to grip, and the stylus tip is fine enough for small details when doodling. The fidget spinner is a fun addition. The product listing notes that the pencil functions without needing to pair via Bluetooth, but I think it would be helpful to also include this information in the instruction manual. (The manual notes you should disconnect any other stylus that is paired with the iPad before using this pencil, so many users may then assume they need to pair this pencil with their iPad. This pencil has no Bluetooth functionality.) Charging via USB C is easy, and the included cleaning cloth, extra stylus tips, and USB C cable are nice extras. For half the cost of an Apple Pencil, this is a nice stylus. It is not pressure sensitive, but it still works quite well for basic sketching, writing, and doodling. Definitely recommend checking it out if you're wanting to experiment with drawing and handwriting on your iPad.

This stylus pen is very cool. You will get a few odd looks from others since it looks like you are drawing on your iPad with a pencil! It works great for either digital artwork or taking handwritten digital notes. Connecting this stylus to my iPad was very quick and the included instructions were easy to follow. The fidget spinner at the top was a nice touch as well. The battery lasts a long time and charges quickly via the included USB-C charging cable.

This is an affordable alternative to an Apple Pencil that manages note taking and light illustration duties on the iPad pretty well. If you're looking to pick up a stylus for jotting down some quick notes or doing quick mark-up on documents or light illustration sketching then this might work out well for you. It attaches magnetically which is a great feature, however the charging port (it doesn't not charge while attached) is located on the same side that the attaching magnet is which makes it not the most optimal to charge up; you can't set your iPad to display and then connect the charger to the pencil while it's attached, you have to detach the pencil and then charge it separately on the side, not a huge deal but it could have been designed a little differently to accommodate that. There is no pressure sensitivity but it manages basic mark making quite well. I could jot down some quick adjustments / sketch out examples on docs and the stylus was tracked fluidly and applied lines smoothly. If you're an illustrator and were looking for something that would 100% replicate all the bells and whistles of an Apple Pencil for 1/3 the price then unfortunately this isn't it. It does however carry itself quite well as a budget alternative, allowing for a nice, smooth writing experience with some light sketching that attaches easily to your iPad.
