Our coating can be applied in just one coat and can be brush, roll or spray applied directly to a range of roof types. Most common include: EPDM Rubber Roof, TPO, PVC, Fiberglass, Spray foam, and Metal. If sprayed, you must use a pump capable of a 6,000psi minimum pressure.
- COMPLETE WATERPROOFING Marlin Silicone Top Coat creates a completely waterproof membrane that wont shrink and stays flexible. It can be used to repair or prevent leaks.
- HIGHLY REFLECTIVE & UV RESISTANT Marlin Top Coat is bright white, with a Solar Reflective Index of 113. This will significantly lower inside temperatures which means lower cooling bills in the summer!
- COVERAGE This self-leveling coating is your go-to long term solution for preventing and/or stopping leaks. On average, 1 gallon of Marlin Top Coat should cover around 60 square feet. Our Silicone products are a permanent fix and will outlast an RV on the road. After 5,000 hours of QUV accelerated weather testing, our products showed no signs of degradation. Our silicone products do not break down due to ponding water or UV exposure. This product is an ideal roofing system due to its excellent reflectivity properties as well as its ability to resist weathering, aging, ponding water, oxidation, wind-driven sand, rain, snow, ozone effects, UV radiation, and the extreme temperatures typically found on roofs. This means with just one application, you can rest assured knowing your investment will be protected for many years moving forward. First, it is imperative your roof is cleaned well to yield the best adhesion of the roof sealant. Remove all loose debris and clean the roof surface with a power washer or cleaner and a soft/medium bristle brush. Once cleaned, thoroughly rinse the roof and allow time for the roof to completely dry. For Aged EPDM Roofs: We offer an EPDM Rinse Cleaner is specifically formulated to clean and prime aged EPDM Rubber Roofs. From there, you can begin applying the product to your roof. This product can be brush, roll, or spray applied. Application can typically be done in one heavy coat. We recommend a coverage rate of around 60sqft per gallon. This coverage rate will yield a final cured thickness around 25 mils. For our complete bulletproof system, you can reseal all roof penetrations and seams with our Silicone Flashing Grade product. Once you have completed your roof project using our 100% Silicone products, it's time to sit back and relax. Our products are proven to last and are able to withstand all the harsh outside elements. You now will have a seamless, completely waterproof membrane that will last for many, many years moving forward.
