    • Great Concept - Wish It Wasn't All Plastic
This is a fantastic concept, this is our second box, but our first one with the litter slide and bag holder. We purchased this version just for those features. We really like this box, but have two things that I wish they would do. 1. I would be willing to spend more money for a box that had metal components that are more durable and sturdy and also more hygienic. We had to purchase this box because our first one (that we had for a few years) was cracked and leaking. The plastic also takes on stains. When the cats scratch at the litter they scratch the plastic creating a place for nastiness to linger and stain. The grate piece also often pops out as you roll the box, and I think this is just due to the cheap plastic, we had to glue it down but that makes it harder to clean. Also, sometimes when you roll it, he buckles for the lid pop and litter comes out. Again, this is a great idea and we like this box, we just wish there were some higher quality components for some of these pain points. 2. I wish it was bigger. We have a cat that is very tall and very long. He is not overweight, but he doesn't fit in the box as well as our other cat. This causes him to sometimes be inside the box, but he ends up peeing or pooping outside of it. If this box was deeper (not higher) that would help a lot so that he had more room to move around. All that said, we are happy about the improvements with this model. The litter slide makes it SOOO much easier to add litter to the box. That was a big pain point for the first box. The bag holder is a huge plus as well. Ultimately, I would recommend this product, but the issues above are really annoying when they happen on a busy weekday morning. ... show more

I have two of these and they qork very affective against cats that spray against the wall and not down in the floor. All other enclosed litter boxes, the cat pee leaks out the back wall, but no in this one. Very easy to clean. Will be purchasing to more in the future, and I would recommend to new cat owners ... show more

The Omega Paw VMRA20-1-PR Premium Roll 'N Clean Large Self Cleaning Litter Box was a letdown for managing cat litter. Difficult to Use: The self-cleaning mechanism is cumbersome and doesn’t effectively separate waste from clean litter. Messy Design: Litter often gets stuck in the sifting grill, requiring manual cleaning and defeating the purpose of a self-cleaning box. Durability Issues: The plastic feels flimsy and prone to breakage, especially the locking mechanism. Odor Control Problems: Despite claims, it doesn’t effectively control odors, leading to unpleasant smells in the house. Overall, this litter box didn’t meet expectations and ended up being more trouble than it’s worth. ... show more

This is an awesome concept, but for the price and for the time it’s been out on the market, one would think they’d make easy and necessary updates to the box itself. The clamps are very hard to get shut properly, as the cheap plastic didn’t line up well. I tried closing different clamps first to see if it made a difference, but one clamp would never properly lock as the plastic just wasn’t lined up correctly. This ended up being a huge problem, as when I roll the litter box over to clean it out, the top would unlatch and litter would spill out. I could fix this by duct taping the entire side together, but then I would have to take the duct tape on and off again whenever I’d need to clean the box or change the litter completely. The could also add some kind of strip between the hood and the base of the box so that fragments of litter cannot escape. When you roll it over as intended to do when you clean, fragments of litter escape, creating the need to vacuum each time you tip the box over- which kind of defeats the purpose. I really do like the concept of this and I know it would work beautifully if they just made simple adjustments to the design. It’s unfortunate that it’s been on the market this long now and they still haven’t figure out how to better their product. Otherwise it would be a perfect litter box! ... show more
