Description

The Omega War made every omega the property of the government. Now, my body doesn't belong to me. I need permission to eat, to sleep, to breathe. The only thing I have left is my heart. But when the Winter pack save me from a dangerous situation... they might take that from me too. For Harper, joining the Winter pack is a risk, one she doesn’t have a choice in. Being owned by an alpha pack means following the omega creed, a set of laws to prevent omegas from having any influence. For the Winter pack, Harper is a complication they’re not sure they need. After all, omegas are notorious for manipulating alphas. That’s why they’re under the strict control of the Omega Compound. It’s for the good of society. But as Harper settles in, it becomes clear that the government have been hiding the truth. About omegas, and about the mating bond they feel growing every day.Medium burnTrigger warning: Contains references to assault, sexual abuse and suicide that may be disturbing Read more

  • An Emotional Masterpeice with Unforgettable Characters
Format: Kindle
Omega Found by Evelyn Flood completely captured my heart from the very first page. This book isn’t just a story—it’s a deep emotional journey that left me breathless, angry, hopeful, and utterly invested. Harper is one of the strongest and most relatable heroines I’ve ever read. Watching her grow through unimaginable trauma, slowly rediscover her strength, and learn to trust again was powerful and deeply moving. Every moment of her pain felt real, and every small triumph she earned made me want to cheer out loud. I cried for her, rooted for her, and felt like I was walking beside her every step of the way. The Winter pack stole my heart. Each member is so well-developed, and the way they treated Harper with respect and patience was incredibly touching. They weren’t perfect, and that made them all the more real. I especially loved how their bond grew organically—there was no rush, just a beautifully slow burn that felt earned and authentic. Evelyn Flood has created a world that is brutal and raw, but also filled with moments of tenderness and hope. The writing is gripping, the tension is intense, and the characters feel like they’ll live in my heart forever. If you're looking for a dark omegaverse story that doesn’t shy away from hard topics but also delivers powerful healing, found family, and love in its purest form, this is the book. I’m already diving into the next one, and I don’t think I’ll ever be the same. ... show more

  • Interesting Omegaverse Concept
Format: Kindle
Having read other Omegaverse stories, they usually focus on the fated mate origin and some with the rejected mate concept. Having read Pack Darling the idea of Omegas not being treated as kindly and revered was always a neat twist. This book takes it another step and the tortuous way Omegas are treated is truly interesting and different. The story flowed well and then just kind of sped up towards the end and then created a large miscommunication trio which bothers me, but that’s just me. I understand the need for it in the story but I always find myself yelling at the FMC for not just asking and only assuming the worse. It’s a very compelling world this series is going in and I look forward to continuing. The narration was terrific with Troy and Samantha. Samantha Cook was new to me and I think she did a great job of portraying the emotions of Harper. Troy is just amazing and having to voice 4 different Alphas and making them distinguishable is always mind blowing. He could’ve read the whole book and I would’ve been happy lol ... show more

  • harper and her men
Format: Kindle
This was a quick but a well thought out story! In this world, the omegas are being held under lock and key by a covertly oppressive and unjust regime that abuses them under the guise of keeping the public 'safe' from the 'manipulative' omegas. The public is not aware of the truth of how these omegas are treated in the facility. Our FMC, Harper, has been at the Omega Compound (OC) for 7 years (since she was 14) and has been brutally abused every day since in order to shape her into the "perfect" subservient omega. Make sure to check TW btw. This story follows Harper as she rescued from the OC by 2 men who were looking to find a female for their already established pack. Once they saw how she was being treated, they decided to bring her home to see if she would fit in the pack. In the days and weeks that follow, we see Harper blossom from a submissive and scared girl to a confident and optimistic woman. During this time, the pack works together to iron out the kinks of adding Harper into the group and helping her adjust to a normal lifestyle. There's some decent spice and some tender moments. There's also at least one tragic event that happens because of miscommunication which I didn't love but understood. This was an enjoyable read however I just didn't feel the connections as deeply as Harper did. I feel like the men were a little shallow and kind of ignorant of how to navigate a relationship with a woman. ... show more

  • Wow
Format: Kindle
This book was amazing. I will say that it's darker than other books I've read dealing with omegas. Omegas face so much abuse within this world. They are forced into the Omega compounds where they are abused and conditioned to be the perfect submissive omegas. Definitely read the trigger warnings. Harper has been in the Omega compound since she was 14. Her parents abandoned her there when it became apparent she was an omega. While at the compound she was beaten, starved, and faced sexual abuse. That she was able to move past it and trust the Winter pack is amazing. The Winter pack Rogue, Devlin, Ace, and Gabe. They had a bad experience with a beta they dated and were falling apart. Ace and Gabe have a relationship and they were looked down upon for it. Devlin has a problem with omegas. Rogue is trying to do what's best for the pack but they have so many problems. They never realized that the Omega Compound was not a Sanctuary but a prison. When faced with the grim reality of it and what Harper has been through they go out of their way to help. There are obviously misunderstandings but they work through it. The book is told in different POVs allowing you to see into everyone's thoughts and motivations. This is the beginning of a series so there are some loose ends that need to be addressed. Like obviously what's going on with the 2 omegas rescued at the beginning? Ava is coming up next and based on the ending of this book her story will be heartbreaking. What's going on with Rogue's dad? Is he working behind the scenes? Will the Winter pack work towards changing and helping out the omegas? Why are betas unable to have kids? Speaking of betas will we see the beta that they dated and caused them harm? Overall I will definitely be rereading this and anxiously waiting for the next book in the series. ... show more

  • Harper becomes a Winter
Format: Kindle
🔥 Omegaverse 🔥 Protective Alphas 🔥 Abused Omega 🔥 Stalkerish “Abuser” I almost didn’t pick up this book. I did not love the environment that the Omega’s are in with the Omega Compound. I know there is something going on behind the scenes and in later books the Omega Creed will fall, thank goodness! But I just was not sure I’d like this storyline. I was wrong. Omega Found is Harper's story. Having been at the Omega Compound for seven years, she is the most beaten and bruised of all. When the director’s son decides that his pack is ready for an Omega, the director jumps at the chance to save Harper. Rogue and his pack learn from personal experience that Omega’s are not what they thought. It’s such a good story!! My Personal Ratings: 5 Stars: Loved it! Couldn’t put it down or obsessed about it while needing to get to the end of it. Had to share some bits with my hubby!! Usually read in less than 2 days cause a girl has got to sleep sometime. Will be reading everything this author has to offer and most likely reread the series as next books in the series are released. 4 Stars: Really Good. Whether the story drew me in or a specific character, will definitely continue the series and look into more books by this author. 3 Stars: Enjoyed something about the book, whether it be the storyline or a character but also may have not liked something. Sometimes the book is great but needs some TLC from an editor. May or may not continue the series. ... show more

  • Devastating and Enthralling
Format: Kindle
This is an incredible take on a rather brutal dystopian omegaverse - omegas are enslaved, literally tortured and kept in cages like animals. Harper, the FMC, is “not a good omega” because even after 7 years of mistreatment, she still has rebellious tendencies. When the Director of the Omega Compound gets her connected to a pack unlike what she’s feared for many years, she has to redefine her future. Not only was the spicy pretty dang spicy - knots and growling and all that omegaverse jazz - the TRAUMA was just *screeching* so good! Bad bad bad, like literal Chinese water torture and ice bath torture and walk in freezer unaliving attempt - but ooooh man, this made the happy ending that much sweeter. I’m eager to read on in the series? But I’m almost despondent of the world at large being able to improve in any real way? Maaaan the omega-hatred by the larger beta populace is amped up to the maaax in this, to the point that the government is literally dehumanising the omegas and attempting to “remove their autonomy” - I want the whole OC system to crumble, but it’s gonna take a heck of massive truth expo for that to happen. Humor: 5/5 - honestly some laugh out loud scenes in this, especially the hilarious failed breakfast turned food fight Romance: 3/5 - she’s so completely traumatised and the world at large is F’ed up, there’s little “dating” or courting at all. She’s sent home with them, grateful they aren’t going to abuse her, and bam. Packed up. Spice: 4/5 - could be hotter and I’m sad Ace and Gabe didn’t get more on screen MM time??? Also, I feel like it really should be a rule??! The first time between the FMC and each of the pack members should have its own scene - we missed out on Rogue, though they did have like a preteen over clothes grinding??? Still. Plot: 5,000,000/5 - holy moly cannoli I want more and I want answers and I want JUSTICE for these poor enslaved omegas! Her line “I’m a person!” Just cuts to the heart! Ugh!!! So goooood! Overall, first time reading this author and I enjoyed it enough to stay up till 5:28 am??? I have work in 3 hours, *sobbing* but it was WORTH IT! ... show more

  • Pulled me out of a reading slump!
Format: Kindle
I never knew an omegaverse story would pull me out of a terrible reading slump. Thank you to the incredible author that wrote this story and shared it with us. When I first started reading I was immediately hooked by not only the vivid descriptions but the main character herself. Harper was an amazing protagonist full of spark, snark, determination, and pouring love. She's got admirable drive to her and I loved every second of it. I was super enthralled by the world in this story, even if it's horrendous with the way it treats omegas. I quickly fell in love with the alphas of the winter pack the moment they showed up... on page(?) and seriously could not get enough of them. Now I've never never read a MLM story or any representing it cause I'm terrified of just not vibing with it and feeling teterrible, but wow. Gabe and Ace in this story seriously pulled me out of that. Not only is their past so damn tragic but their chemistry together was just utterly palpable. I loved every second it it. Out of all the boys I honestly can't choose a fav as they all have those quirks we love in our book boyfriends so I'll just go with my bookish motto: why choose when you can have them both (in this case all four of them) Truly an amazing read and I would recommend it to omegaverse lovers! ... show more

  • Quick but interesting read
Format: Kindle
This story was pretty interesting. Usually I want to immediately throw a book in the trash when the main female character is a simpering fool, but this is one of the few occasions when it actually works and makes sense. So I applaud the author for actually being able to pull that off. The whole world building is heavily reminiscent of handmaid's tale and that's not something I see too often so I really hope the author gives us more on the world and maybe we see the characters fighting against it. The characters progression wasn't bad overall. There was just one thing that bothered me. If Harper was literally Just tortured via water, why is she perfectly fine with taking a bath/shower just hours later? Especially when other characters in the book are mentioning how anyone else would have psychological broken from such torture but Harper's so strong.. As for grammar and writing I'd say it's like 3.5 stars for me. There were grammar mistakes and some not so great sentence structuring. But it wasn't too distracting and you can easily read over it. ... show more
