For the low price of these units it performed perfectly. It’s well built including the hardware. It came well packed and easy to set up. I used it for a subframe swap on my 2013 Dodge Challenger SRT8. The hook worked well using the stud found on the front of the block. I did pull the stud the hook used from the engine and swapped ends as there were more threads. The hooks are strong and didn’t flex at any time. The nut used to pull the hoop up was perfect but I did put some anti-seize to the hook threads for smooth operation. The engine remained up for 4 days and I never heard or noticed any movement. I did however place a small hydraulic Jack stand under the front of the trans just to be safe. I recommend using something to support the engine in case something fails. I wouldn’t risk injury or worse on any hardware like this so be safe and add additional support. I also purchased this as a “used like new” item and saved about 40%. The box was slightly damaged but that’s it. It was never opened. ... show more

Terrible product. The foot base broke off after only the second use. Super flimsy and made out of trash metal. Do not buy this waste of money. Return window is only 30 days because they know it will break on th 31st day.

Purchased this to use in my shop. I'll start with what I don't like. It dose not have both hooks adjustable. I could not tell from the photos and I was disappointed to find this out. The other challenge with this is the third arm size positioning the support can be difficult with hood clearance. That being said the one hook that is adjustable is enough in most cases. Also the third arm is adjustable which also helps. There needs to be more documentation on these type of devices to allow a more informed decision. ... show more
