It's too rough! Works ok for lower back? But I don't recommend for neck and or shoulders. I'm not a large person and this unit is very small. Wouldn't buy again.

So if you have gone to get a pedicure with a massage chair this is very much what this feels like. I love it! The heat feels great but not HOT...just warm. Lots of settings on how fast or direction. For the price this one works great!
