bought 2 sets. The set I wrapped around a big tree is super bright and been hanging in the snow and cold for about a month. The other set is stuck on the dim mode and it will not brighten up. The remote is working properly on the dud set of lights, I know this because I switched the power base and remote receiver on the 2 sets and the working light remained working while these lights wouldn't respond to new receiver and power connector. Remote on both work from about 15 feet away max if the receiver is pointing the correct way. Kinda pointless remote for outside use. Inside use I would think it would be fine. I'll be returning the dud set, let you know if they send a working set as replacement ... show more

Every time they turn on, they are reset to the default obnoxious flashing routine thru all patterns. Every night I have to reset them to the option I want. It's super annoying - especially when it's cold & 0ยฐ out in the winter. So they don't have a memory function to remember the last light setting type you picked. I tested this on just a normal outlet & using an Alexa plug I can remotely control with a "routine" (turn on at sunset). No matter what, it always defaults back to default flashing light pattern. By the time I realized this, I had run them all the way around my house taking 2 hours. Ugh. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Who doesn't want 800 LEDs and 234 feet of lights..... This video is of only one strand of lights. PERFECT. so many compliments. It makes decorating the tree so easy. Remote control to turn them on and off this is going to be a good year. I am sure SANTA will love them!

These lights are great I bought 5 to wrap around my house and trees. However, I now have 2 adaptors that don't work I'm thinking because we had a little rain. Although these are OUTDOOR lights for the money it cost the adapter should be able to handle a little rain in CA. If it wasn't for that I would give 5 stars. There's no option for only having the adapters replaced so that's a lot of money down the drain. I wish I would have none of that or I would have chosen a different brand. ... show more

So, Amazon just said that I purchased it before and not that there were any changes. The new version is 80 feet shorter than last year. The lights are cute, the plug part is not water proof though many are not. Only lasted a year, but I liked it so much for $25 I bought it again. Wellโ€ฆ itโ€™s awkwardly short, so make sure itโ€™s enough if your just buying again! ... show more

The media could not be loaded. So happy with how great these lights look. We had enough to wrap around our whole roof and up and down each porch post. Tons of settings and a convenient remote control. Will update if they survive an Ohio winter.
