Even the lowest setting sounds like a propeller airplane taking of and the breeze it produces is exceedingly strong, even at just 18". Came in a double reinforced cardboard box. Three pins hold the blade in place while shipping. Base is a little tricky to assemble and put onto the fan cage. The power switch is nice, it goes two ways - start at low or high. A lot of metal and some plastic with a nice appearance. The air flow is just what I needed in a 18 fan ... show more
